2Speakדַּבֵּ֣ר׀da.BerH1696unto the childrenH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and takeוְקַ֣חve.KachH3947of every one of them a rodH4294according to the houseלְבֵ֨יתle.VeitH1004of theirfathersאָ֜ב'avH1,of all their princesנְשִֽׂיאֵהֶם֙ne.si.'e.HemH5387according to the houseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004of their fathersאֲבֹתָ֔ם'a.vo.TamH1twelveשְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖רshe.Neim 'a.SarH6240 H8147rodsH4294:writeתִּכְתֹּ֖בtikh.ToH3789thou every man’sאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376nameשְׁמ֔וֹshe.MoH8034upon his rodH4294.

3And thou shalt writeתִּכְתֹּ֖בtikh.ToH3789Aaron’sאַהֲרֹ֔ן'a.ha.RonH175nameשֵׁ֣םshemH8034upon the rodמַטֵּ֣הma.TehH4294of Leviלֵוִ֑יle.ViH3878:for oneאֶחָ֔ד'e.ChadH259rodמַטֶּ֣הma.TehH4294shall befor the headלְרֹ֖אשׁle.RoshH7218of the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of their fathersאֲבוֹתָֽם׃'a.vo.TamH1.

4And thou shalt lay them upH3240in the tabernacleבְּאֹ֣הֶלbe.'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150beforeלִפְנֵי֙lif.NeiH6440the testimonyהָֽעֵד֔וּתha.'e.DutH5715,where I will meetאִוָּעֵ֥ד'i.va.'EdH3259with you.

5And it shall come to pass, thatthe man’sH376rodמַטֵּ֣הוּma.Te.huH4294,whom I shall chooseאֶבְחַר־'ev.char-H977,shall blossomיִפְרָ֑חyif.RachH6524:and I will make to ceaseוַהֲשִׁכֹּתִ֣יva.ha.shi.ko.TiH7918from me the murmuringsתְּלֻנּוֹת֙te.lu.nOtH8519of the childrenH1121of IsraelH3478,whereby they murmurמַלִּינִ֖םma.li.NimH3885against you.

6And MosesH4872spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֨רvay.da.BerH1696unto the childrenH1121of IsraelH3478,and every one of their princesH5387gaveוַיִּתְּנ֣וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414him a rodH4294apiece, for each princeH5387oneH259,according to their fathers’אֲבֹתָ֔ם'a.vo.TamH1housesלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004, eventwelveשְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖רshe.Neim 'a.SarH8147 H6240rodsH4294:and the rodH4294of AaronH175wasamongבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432their rodsH4294.

7And MosesH4872laid upH3240the rodsהַמַּטֹּ֖תha.ma.TotH4294beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the LordH3068in the tabernacleH168of witnessהָעֵדֻֽת׃ha.'e.DutH5715.

8And it came to pass, that on the morrowמִֽמָּחֳרָ֗תmi.mo.cho.RatH4283MosesH4872wentH935into the tabernacleH168of witnessהָעֵד֔וּתha.'e.DutH5715;and, behold, the rodמַטֵּֽה־ma.teh-H4294of AaronH175for the houseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004of Leviלֵוִ֑יle.ViH3878was buddedפָּרַ֥חpa.RachH6524,and brought forthוַיֹּ֤צֵֽאvai.Yo.tze'H3318budsפֶ֙רַח֙fe.rachH6525,and bloomedוַיָּ֣צֵֽץvai.Ya.tzetzH6692blossomsצִ֔יץTzitzH6731,and yieldedוַיִּגְמֹ֖לvai.yig.MolH1580almondsשְׁקֵדִֽים׃she.ke.DimH8247.

9And MosesH4872brought outוַיֹּצֵ֨אvai.yo.Tze'H3318all the rodsהַמַּטֹּת֙ha.ma.TotH4294from beforeמִלִּפְנֵ֣יmi.lif.NeiH6440the LordH3068unto all the childrenבְּנֵ֖יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478:and they lookedוַיִּרְא֥וּvai.yir.'UH7200,and tookוַיִּקְח֖וּvai.yik.ChuH3947every manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376his rodמַטֵּֽהוּ׃ סma.Te.huH4294.

10And the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֗הmo.ShehH4872,BringH7725Aaron’sאַהֲרֹן֙'a.ha.RonH175rodמַטֵּ֤הma.TehH4294againH7725beforeH6440the testimonyהָעֵד֔וּתha.'e.DutH5715,to be keptלְמִשְׁמֶ֥רֶתle.mish.Me.retH4931for a tokenלְא֖וֹתle.'otH226against the rebelsלִבְנֵי־ מֶ֑רִיliv.nei- Me.riH1121 H4805;and thou shalt quite take awayH3615their murmuringsתְּלוּנֹּתָ֛םte.lu.no.TamH8519from me, that they dieיָמֻֽתוּ׃ya.Mu.tuH4191not.

11And MosesH4872didוַיַּ֖עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213so:as the LordH3068commandedצִוָּ֧הtzi.VahH6680him, so didעָשָֽׂה׃ ס'a.SahH6213he.

12And the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478spakeוַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙vai.yo.me.RuH559unto MosesH4872,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,Behold, we dieגָּוַ֛עְנוּga.Va'.nuH1478,we perishאָבַ֖דְנוּ'a.Vad.nuH6,we all perishאָבָֽדְנוּ׃'a.Vad.nuH6.

13Whosoever cometh any thing nearH7131unto the tabernacleמִשְׁכַּ֥ןmish.KanH4908of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068shall dieH4191:shall we be consumedתַּ֖מְנוּTam.nuH8552with dyingלִגְוֹֽעַ׃ סlig.Vo.a'H1478?
