4And it came to pass, thatwhen Zedekiahצִדְקִיָּ֨הוּtzid.ki.Ya.huH6667the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֜הye.hu.DahH3063sawרָ֠אָםRa.'omH7200them, and all the menאַנְשֵׁ֣י'an.SheiH582of warהַמִּלְחָמָ֗הha.mil.cha.MahH4421,then they fledוַֽ֠יִּבְרְחוּVai.yiv.re.chuH1272,and went forthוַיֵּצְא֨וּvai.ye.tze.'UH3318out of the cityהָעִיר֙ha.'IrH5892by nightלַ֤יְלָהLay.lahH3915,by the wayדֶּ֚רֶךְDe.rekhH1870of the king’sהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428gardenגַּ֣ןganH1588,by the gateבְּשַׁ֖עַרbe.Sha.'arH8179betwixt the two wallsהַחֹמֹתָ֑יִםha.cho.mo.Ta.yimH2346:and he went outוַיֵּצֵ֖אvai.ye.Tze'H3318the wayדֶּ֥רֶךְDe.rekhH1870of the plainהָעֲרָבָֽה׃ha.'a.ra.VahH6160.

5But the Chaldeans’כַּשְׂדִּ֜יםkas.DimH3778armyחֵיל־cheil-H2428pursuedוַיִּרְדְּפ֨וּvai.yir.de.FuH7291afterאַחֲרֵיהֶ֗ם'a.cha.rei.HemH310them, and overtookוַיַּשִּׂ֣גוּvai.ya.Si.guH5381Zedekiahצִדְקִיָּהוּ֮tzid.ki.ya.HuH6667in the plainsבְּעַֽרְב֣וֹתbe.'ar.VotH6160of Jerichoיְרֵחוֹ֒ye.re.ChoH3405:and when they had takenוַיִּקְח֣וּvai.yik.ChuH3947him, they brought him upוַֽ֠יַּעֲלֻהוּVai.ya.'a.lu.huH5927to Nebuchadnezzarנְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֧רne.vu.khad.re.TzarH5019kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Babylonבָּבֶ֛לba.VelH894to Riblahרִבְלָ֖תָהriv.La.tahH7247in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Hamathחֲמָ֑תcha.MatH2574,where he gaveוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696judgmentמִשְׁפָּטִֽים׃mish.pa.TimH4941upon him.

6Then the kingמֶ֨לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Babylonבָּבֶ֜לba.VelH894slewוַיִּשְׁחַט֩vai.yish.ChatH7819the sonsבְּנֵ֧יbe.NeiH1121of Zedekiahצִדְקִיָּ֛הוּtzid.ki.Ya.huH6667in Riblahבְּרִבְלָ֖הbe.riv.LahH7247before his eyesלְעֵינָ֑יוle.'ei.NavH5869:also the kingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Babylonבָּבֶֽל׃ba.VelH894slewשָׁחַ֖טsha.ChatH7819all the noblesחֹרֵ֣יcho.ReiH2715of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063.

7Moreover he put outעִוֵּ֑ר'i.VerH5786Zedekiah’sצִדְקִיָּ֖הוּtzid.ki.Ya.huH6667eyesעֵינֵ֥י'ei.NeiH5869,and boundוַיַּאַסְרֵ֙הוּ֙vai.ya.'as.Re.huH631him with chainsבַּֽנְחֻשְׁתַּ֔יִםban.chush.Ta.yimH5178,to carryלָבִ֥יאla.Vi'H935him to Babylonבָּבֶֽלָה׃ba.Ve.lahH894.

8And the Chaldeansהַכַּשְׂדִּ֖יםha.kas.DimH3778burnedשָׂרְפ֥וּsa.re.FuH8313the king’sהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428houseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004,and the housesבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971,with fireבָּאֵ֑שׁba.'EshH784,and brake downנָתָֽצוּ׃na.Ta.tzuH5422the wallsחֹמ֥וֹתcho.MotH2346of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֖םye.ru.sha.LimH3389.

9Then Nebuzar–adanH5018the captainרַב־rav-H7227of the guardטַבָּחִ֖יםta.ba.ChimH2876carried away captiveהֶגְלָ֛הheg.LahH1540into Babylonבָּבֶֽל׃ba.VelH894the remnantיֶ֨תֶרYe.terH3499of the peopleהָעָ֜םha.'AmH5971that remainedהַנִּשְׁאָרִ֣יםha.nish.'a.RimH7604in the cityבָּעִ֗ירba.'IrH5892,and those that fell awayהַנֹּֽפְלִים֙ha.no.fe.LimH5307,that fellנָפְל֣וּna.fe.LuH5307to him, with the restיֶ֥תֶרYe.terH3499of the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971that remainedהַנִּשְׁאָרִ֑יםha.nish.'a.RimH7604.

10But Nebuzar–adanנְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֥ןne.vu.zar.'a.DanH5018the captainרַב־rav-H7227of the guardטַבָּחִ֖יםta.ba.ChimH2876leftהִשְׁאִ֛ירhish.'IrH7604of the poorהַדַּלִּ֗יםha.da.LimH1800of the peopleהָעָ֣םha.'AmH5971,which had nothingמְא֔וּמָהme.'U.mahH3972,in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063,and gaveוַיִּתֵּ֥ןvai.yi.TenH5414them vineyardsכְּרָמִ֥יםke.ra.MimH3754and fieldsוִֽיגֵבִ֖יםvi.ge.VimH3010at the same timeבַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117.
