12Thus saithאָמַר֮'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאוֹת֒tze.va.'OtH6635;Again in this placeבַּמָּק֣וֹםba.ma.KomH4725,which is desolateהֶחָרֵ֛בhe.cha.RevH2720without manאָדָ֥ם'a.DamH120and without beastבְּהֵמָ֖הbe.he.MahH929,and in all the citiesעָרָ֑יו'a.RavH5892thereof, shall be an habitationנְוֵ֣הne.VehH5116of shepherdsרֹעִ֔יםro.'ImH7462causing theirflocksצֹֽאן׃TzonH6629to lie downמַרְבִּצִ֖יםmar.bi.TzimH7257.

13In the citiesבְּעָרֵ֨יbe.'a.ReiH5892of the mountainsהָהָ֜רha.HarH2022,in the citiesבְּעָרֵ֤יbe.'a.ReiH5892of the valeהַשְּׁפֵלָה֙ha.she.fe.LahH8219,and in the citiesוּבְעָרֵ֣יu.ve.'a.ReiH5892of the southהַנֶּ֔גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045,and in the landוּבְאֶ֧רֶץu.ve.'E.retzH776of Benjaminבִּנְיָמִ֛ןbin.ya.MinH1144,and in the places aboutוּבִסְבִיבֵ֥יu.vis.vi.VeiH5439Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֖םye.ru.sha.LimH3389,and in the citiesוּבְעָרֵ֣יu.ve.'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063,shall the flocksהַצֹּ֛אןha.TzonH6629pass againתַּעֲבֹ֧רְנָהta.'a.Vo.re.nahH5674under the handsיְדֵ֥יye.DeiH3027of him that tellethמוֹנֶ֖הmo.NehH4487them,saithאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

14Behold, the daysיָמִ֥יםya.MimH3117comeבָּאִ֖יםba.'ImH935,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,that I will performוַהֲקִֽמֹתִי֙va.ha.ki.mo.TiH6965that goodהַטּ֔וֹבha.TovH2896thingהַדָּבָ֣רha.da.VarH1697which I have promisedדִּבַּ֛רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696unto the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478and to the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ye.hu.DahH3063.

15In those daysבַּיָּמִ֤יםbai.ya.MimH3117,and at that timeוּבָעֵ֣תu.va.'EtH6256,will I cause the Branchצֶ֣מַחTze.machH6780of righteousnessצְדָקָ֑הtze.da.KahH6666to grow upאַצְמִ֥יחַ'atz.Mi.achH6779unto Davidלְדָוִ֖דle.da.VidH1732;and he shall executeוְעָשָׂ֛הve.'a.SahH6213judgmentמִשְׁפָּ֥טmish.PatH4941and righteousnessוּצְדָקָ֖הu.tze.da.KahH6666in the landבָּאָֽרֶץ׃ba.'A.retzH776.

16In those daysבַּיָּמִ֤יםbai.ya.MimH3117shall Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063be savedתִּוָּשַׁ֣עti.va.Sha'H3467,and Jerusalemוִירוּשָׁלִַ֖םvi.ru.sha.LimH3389shall dwellתִּשְׁכּ֣וֹןtish.KonH7931safelyלָבֶ֑טַחla.Ve.tachH983: and this is the namewherewith she shall be calledיִקְרָא־yik.ra'-H7121,The Lord our righteousnessH3072.

17For thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068;Davidלְדָוִ֔דle.da.VidH1732shall neverלֹֽא־lo'-H3808wantיִכָּרֵ֣תyi.ka.RetH3772a manאִ֕ישׁ'ishH376to sitיֹשֵׁ֖בyo.ShevH3427upon the throneכִּסֵּ֥אki.Se'H3678of the houseבֵֽית־veit-H1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478;

18Neither shall the priestsוְלַכֹּהֲנִים֙ve.la.ko.ha.NimH3548the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881wantיִכָּרֵ֥תyi.ka.RetH3772a manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376beforeמִלְּפָנָ֑יmi.le.fa.NaiH6440me to offerמַעֲלֶ֨הma.'a.LehH5927burnt offeringsעוֹלָ֜הo.LahH5930,and to kindleוּמַקְטִ֥ירu.mak.TirH6999meat offeringsמִנְחָ֛הmin.ChahH4503,and to doוְעֹ֥שֶׂה־ve.'o.seh-H6213sacrificeזֶּ֖בַחZe.vachH2077continuallyהַיָּמִֽים׃ סhai.ya.MimH3117.

19And the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068came unto Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֖הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414,sayingלֵאמֽוֹר׃le.MorH559,

20Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068;If ye can breakתָּפֵ֙רוּ֙ta.Fe.ruH6565my covenantבְּרִיתִ֣יbe.ri.TiH1285of the dayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117,and my covenantבְּרִיתִ֖יbe.ri.TiH1285of the nightהַלָּ֑יְלָהha.La.ye.lahH3915,and that there should not be dayיֽוֹמָם־yo.mom-H3119and nightוָלַ֖יְלָהva.Lay.lahH3915in their seasonבְּעִתָּֽם׃be.'i.TamH6256;

21Thenmay also my covenantבְּרִיתִ֤יbe.ri.TiH1285be brokenתֻפַר֙tu.FarH6565with Davidדָּוִ֣דda.VidH1732my servantעַבְדִּ֔י'av.DiH5650,that he should not have a sonבֵ֖ןvenH1121to reignמֹלֵ֣ךְmo.LekhH4427upon his throneכִּסְא֑וֹkis.'OH3678;and with the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֥םhal.vi.YimH3881the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548,my ministersמְשָׁרְתָֽי׃me.sha.re.TaiH8334.

22As the hostצְבָ֣אtze.Va'H6635of heavenהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064cannot be numberedיִסָּפֵר֙yi.sa.FerH5608,neither the sandח֣וֹלCholH2344of the seaהַיָּ֑םhai.YamH3220measuredיִמַּ֖דyi.MadH4058:so will I multiplyאַרְבֶּ֗ה'ar.BehH7235the seedזֶ֙רַע֙ze.ra'H2233of Davidדָּוִ֣דda.VidH1732my servantעַבְדִּ֔י'av.DiH5650,and the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֖םhal.vi.YimH3881that ministerמְשָׁרְתֵ֥יme.sha.re.TeiH8334unto me.

23Moreover the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068came to Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֖הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

24Considerestרָאִ֗יתָra.'I.taH7200thou not what this peopleהָעָ֤םha.'AmH5971have spokenדִּבְּר֣וּdi.be.RuH1696,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,The twoשְׁתֵּ֣יshe.TeiH8147familiesהַמִּשְׁפָּח֗וֹתha.mish.pa.ChotH4940which the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068hath chosenבָּחַ֧רba.CharH977,he hath even cast them offוַיִּמְאָסֵ֑םvai.yim.'a.SemH3988?thus they have despisedיִנְאָצ֔וּןyin.'a.TzunH5006my peopleעַמִּי֙'a.MiH5971,that they should be no more a nationגּ֥וֹיGoyH1471beforeלִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃ סlif.nei.HemH6440them.

25Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068;If my covenantבְרִיתִ֖יve.ri.TiH1285benot with dayיוֹמָ֣םyo.MamH3119and nightוָלָ֑יְלָהva.La.ye.lahH3915, and ifI have not appointedשָֽׂמְתִּי׃Sa.me.tiH7760the ordinancesחֻקּ֛וֹתchu.KotH2708of heavenשָׁמַ֥יִםsha.Ma.yimH8064and earthוָאָ֖רֶץva.'A.retzH776;

26Thenגַּם־gam-H1571will I cast awayאֶמְאַ֗ס'em.'AsH3988the seedזֶ֣רַעZe.ra'H2233of Jacobיַעֲקוֹב֩ya.'a.kOvH3290,and Davidוְדָוִ֨דve.da.VidH1732my servantעַבְדִּ֜י'av.DiH5650, sothat I will not takeמִקַּ֤חַתmi.Ka.chatH3947anyof his seedמִזַּרְעוֹ֙mi.zar.'OH2233to berulersמֹֽשְׁלִ֔יםmo.she.LimH4910over the seedזֶ֥רַעZe.ra'H2233of Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֖ם'av.ra.HamH85,Isaacיִשְׂחָ֣קyis.ChakH3446,and Jacobוְיַעֲקֹ֑בve.ya.'a.KoH3290:for I will cause their captivityשְׁבוּתָ֖םshe.vu.TamH7622to returnאָשִׁ֥יב'a.shuvH7725,and have mercyוְרִחַמְתִּֽים׃ סve.ri.cham.TimH7355on them.
