2Shakeהִתְנַעֲרִ֧יhit.na.'a.RiH5287thyself from the dustמֵעָפָ֛רme.'a.FarH6083;ariseק֥וּמִיKu.miH6965, andsit downשְּׁבִ֖יshe.ViH3427,O Jerusalemיְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389:looseהִֽתְפַּתְּחִי֙hit.pa.te.chuH6605thyself from the bandsמוֹסְרֵ֣יmos.ReiH4147of thy neckצַוָּארֵ֔ךְtza.va.RekhH6677,O captiveשְׁבִיָּ֖הshe.vi.YahH7628daughterבַּת־bat-H1323of Zionצִיּֽוֹן׃ סtzi.YonH6726.

3For thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,Ye have soldנִמְכַּרְתֶּ֑םnim.kar.TemH4376yourselves for noughtחִנָּ֖םchi.NamH2600;and ye shall be redeemedתִּגָּאֵֽלוּ׃ti.ga.'E.luH1350without moneyבְכֶ֖סֶףve.Khe.sefH3701.

4For thus saithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069,My peopleעַמִּ֥י'a.MiH5971went downיָֽרַד־ya.rad-H3381aforetimeבָרִֽאשֹׁנָ֖הva.ri.sho.NahH7223into Egyptמִצְרַ֛יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714to sojournלָג֣וּרla.GurH1481there; and the Assyrianוְאַשּׁ֖וּרve.'a.ShurH804oppressedעֲשָׁקֽוֹ׃a.sha.KoH6231them without causeבְּאֶ֥פֶסbe.'E.fesH657.

5Now therefore, what have I here, saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,that my peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971is taken awayלֻקַּ֥חlu.KachH3947for noughtחִנָּ֑םchi.NamH2600?they that ruleמֹשְׁלָ֤יוmo.she.lovH4910over them make them to howlיְהֵילִ֙ילוּ֙ye.hei.Li.luH3213,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068;and my nameשְׁמִ֥יshe.MiH8034continuallyוְתָמִ֥ידve.ta.MidH8548every dayהַיּ֖וֹםhai.YomH3117isblasphemedמִנֹּאָֽץ׃mi.no.'AtzH5006.

6Therefore my peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971shall knowיֵדַ֥עye.Da'H3045my nameשְׁמִ֑יshe.MiH8034: therefore they shall knowin that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117that I amhe that doth speakהַֽמְדַבֵּ֖רham.da.BerH1696: behold, it is I.

7How beautifulנָּאו֨וּna.VuH4998upon the mountainsהֶהָרִ֜יםhe.ha.RimH2022are the feetרַגְלֵ֣יrag.LeiH7272of him that bringeth good tidingsמְבַשֵּׂ֗רme.va.SerH1319,that publishethמַשְׁמִ֧יעַmash.Mi.a'H8085peaceשָׁל֛וֹםsha.LomH7965;that bringeth good tidingsמְבַשֵּׂ֥רme.va.SerH1319of goodט֖וֹבTovH2896,that publishethמַשְׁמִ֣יעַmash.Mi.a'H8085salvationיְשׁוּעָ֑הye.shu.'AhH3444;that saithאֹמֵ֥ר'o.MerH559unto Zionלְצִיּ֖וֹןle.tzi.YonH6726,Thy Godאֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃'e.lo.Ha.yikhH430reignethמָלַ֥ךְma.LakhH4427!

8Thy watchmenצֹפַ֛יִךְtzo.Fa.yikhH6822shall lift upנָ֥שְׂאוּNa.se.'uH5375the voiceק֥וֹלKolH6963;with the voiceק֖וֹלKolH6963togetherיַחְדָּ֣וyach.DavH3162shall they singיְרַנֵּ֑נוּye.ra.Ne.nuH7442:for they shall seeיִרְא֔וּyir.'UH7200eyeעַ֤יִן'A.yinH5869to eyeבְּעַ֙יִן֙be.'A.yinH5869,when the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068shall bring againבְּשׁ֥וּבbe.ShuvH7725Zionצִיּֽוֹן׃tzi.YonH6726.

9Break forth into joyפִּצְח֤וּpitz.ChuH6476,singרַנְּנוּ֙ra.ne.NuH7442togetherיַחְדָּ֔וyach.DavH3162,ye waste placesחָרְב֖וֹתcha.re.VotH2723of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389:for the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068hath comfortedנִחַ֤םni.ChamH5162his peopleעַמּ֔וֹa.MoH5971,he hath redeemedגָּאַ֖לga.'AlH1350Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ye.ru.sha.LimH3389.

10The Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068hath made bareחָשַׂ֤ףcha.SafH2834his holyקָדְשׁ֔וֹka.de.ShoH6944armזְר֣וֹעַze.Ro.a'H2220in the eyesלְעֵינֵ֖יle.'ei.NeiH5869of all the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֑םha.go.YimH1471;and all the endsאַפְסֵי־'af.sei-H657of the earthאָ֔רֶץ'A.retzH776shall seeוְרָאוּ֙ve.ra.'UH7200the salvationיְשׁוּעַ֥תye.shu.'AtH3444of our Godאֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ ס'e.lo.Hei.nuH430.

11Departס֤וּרוּSu.ruH5493ye, departס֙וּרוּ֙su.ruH5493ye, go ye outצְא֣וּtze.'UH3318from thence, touchתִּגָּ֑עוּti.Ga.'uH5060no uncleanטָמֵ֖אta.Me'H2931thing;go ye outצְא֣וּtze.'UH3318of the midstמִתּוֹכָ֔הּmi.to.KhahH8432of her; be ye cleanהִבָּ֕רוּhi.Ba.ruH1305,that bearנֹשְׂאֵ֖יno.se.'EiH5375the vesselsכְּלֵ֥יke.LeiH3627of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

12For ye shall not go outתֵּצֵ֔אוּte.Tze.'uH3318with hasteבְחִפָּזוֹן֙ve.chi.pa.zOnH2649,nor goH3212by flightוּבִמְנוּסָ֖הu.vim.nu.SahH4499:for the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068will goH1980beforeלִפְנֵיכֶם֙lif.nei.KhemH6440you; and the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ סYis.ra.'ElH3478will beyour rerewardוּמְאַסִּפְכֶ֖םu.me.'a.sif.KhemH622.

13Behold, my servantעַבְדִּ֑י'av.DiH5650shall deal prudentlyיַשְׂכִּ֖ילyas.KilH7919,he shall be exaltedיָר֧וּםya.RumH7311and extolledוְנִשָּׂ֛אve.ni.Sa'H5375,and be veryמְאֹֽד׃me.'OdH3966highוְגָבַ֖הּve.ga.VahH1361.

14As manyרַבִּ֔יםra.BimH7227were astoniedשָׁמְמ֤וּsha.me.MuH8074at thee; his visageמַרְאֵ֑הוּmar.'E.huH4758was so marredמִשְׁחַ֥תmish.ChatH4893more than any manמֵאִ֖ישׁme.'IshH376,and his formוְתֹאֲר֖וֹve.to.'a.RoH8389more than the sonsמִבְּנֵ֥יmi.be.NeiH1121of menאָדָֽם׃'a.DamH120:

15So shall he sprinkleיַזֶּה֙ya.ZehH5137manyרַבִּ֔יםra.BimH7227nationsגּוֹיִ֣םgo.YimH1471;the kingsמְלָכִ֖יםme.la.KhimH4428shall shutיִקְפְּצ֥וּyik.pe.TzuH7092their mouthsפִּיהֶ֑םpi.HemH6310at him: for thatwhich had not been toldסֻפַּ֤רsu.ParH5608them shall they seeרָא֔וּra.'UH7200; and thatwhich they had not heardשָׁמְע֖וּsha.me.'UH8085shall they considerהִתְבּוֹנָֽנוּ׃hit.bo.Na.nuH995.
