1Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,The heavenהַשָּׁמַ֣יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064ismy throneכִּסְאִ֔יkis.'IH3678,and the earthוְהָאָ֖רֶץve.ha.'A.retzH776ismy footstoolהֲדֹ֣ם רַגְלָ֑יha.Dom rag.LaiH1916H7272: where isthe houseבַ֙יִת֙va.yitH1004that ye buildתִּבְנוּ־tiv.nu-H1129unto me? and where isthe placeמָק֖וֹםma.KomH4725of my restמְנוּחָתִֽי׃me.nu.cha.TiH4496?
2For all those thingshath mine handיָדִ֣יya.DiH3027madeעָשָׂ֔תָה'a.Sa.tahH6213, and all those thingshave been, saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068: but to this manwill I lookאַבִּ֔יט'a.BitH5027, even to him that ispoorעָנִי֙'a.NiH6041and of a contriteוּנְכֵה־u.ne.kheh-H5223spiritר֔וּחַRu.achH7307,and tremblethוְחָרֵ֖דve.cha.RedH2730at my wordדְּבָרִֽי׃de.va.RiH1697.
3He that killethשׁוֹחֵ֨טsho.ChetH7819an oxהַשּׁ֜וֹרha.ShorH7794is as ifhe slewמַכֵּה־ma.keh-H5221a manאִ֗ישׁ'IshH376;he that sacrificethזוֹבֵ֤חַzo.Ve.achH2076a lambהַשֶּׂה֙ha.SehH7716, as ifhe cut offH6202a dog’sכֶּ֔לֶבKe.levH3611neckעֹ֣רֵֽף'O.refH6202;he that offerethמַעֲלֵ֤הma.'a.LehH5927an oblationמִנְחָה֙min.ChahH4503, as if he offeredswine’sחֲזִ֔ירcha.ZirH2386bloodדַּם־dam-H1818;he that burnethמַזְכִּ֥ירmaz.KirH2142incenseלְבֹנָ֖הle.vo.NahH3828, as ifhe blessedמְבָ֣רֵֽךְme.Va.rekhH1288an idolאָ֑וֶן'A.venH205.Yea, they have chosenבָּֽחֲרוּ֙ba.cha.RuH977their own waysבְּדַרְכֵיהֶ֔םbe.dar.khei.HemH1870,and their soulנַפְשָׁ֥םnaf.ShamH5315delightethחָפֵֽצָה׃cha.Fe.tzahH2654in their abominationsוּבְשִׁקּוּצֵיהֶ֖םu.ve.shi.ku.tzei.HemH8251.
4I also will chooseאֶבְחַ֣ר'ev.CharH977their delusionsבְּתַעֲלֻלֵיהֶ֗םbe.ta.'a.lu.lei.HemH8586,and will bringאָבִ֣יא'a.Vi'H935their fearsוּמְגֽוּרֹתָם֙u.me.gu.ro.TamH4035upon them; because when I calledקָרָ֙אתִי֙ka.Ra.tiH7121,none did answerעוֹנֶ֔הo.NehH6030;when I spakeדִּבַּ֖רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696,they did not hearשָׁמֵ֑עוּsha.Me.'uH8085:but they didוַיַּעֲשׂ֤וּvai.ya.'a.SuH6213evilהָרַע֙ha.Ra'H7451before mine eyesבְּעֵינַ֔יbe.'ei.NaiH5869,and choseבָּחָֽרוּ׃ סba.Cha.ruH977thatin which I delightedחָפַ֖צְתִּיcha.Fatz.tiH2654not.
5Hearשִׁמְעוּ֙shim.'UH8085the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,ye that trembleהַחֲרֵדִ֖יםha.cha.re.DimH2730at his wordדְּבָר֑וֹde.va.RoH1697;Your brethrenאֲחֵיכֶ֨ם'a.chei.KhemH251that hatedשֹׂנְאֵיכֶ֜םso.ne.'ei.KhemH8130you, that cast you outמְנַדֵּיכֶ֗םme.na.dei.KhemH5077for my name’sשְׁמִי֙she.MiH8034sake, saidאָמְרוּ֩'a.me.RuH559,Let the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068be glorifiedיִכְבַּ֣דyikh.BadH3513:but he shall appearוְנִרְאֶ֥הve.nir.'EhH7200to your joyבְשִׂמְחַתְכֶ֖םve.sim.chat.KhemH8057,and they shall be ashamedיֵבֹֽשׁוּ׃ye.Vo.shuH954.
6A voiceק֤וֹלKolH6963of noiseשָׁאוֹן֙sha.'OnH7588from the cityמֵעִ֔ירme.'IrH5892,a voiceק֖וֹלKolH6963from the templeמֵֽהֵיכָ֑לme.hei.KhalH1964,a voiceק֣וֹלKolH6963of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068that renderethמְשַׁלֵּ֥םme.sha.LemH7999recompenceגְּמ֖וּלge.MulH1576to his enemiesלְאֹיְבָֽיו׃le.'o.ye.VavH341.
8Who hath heardשָׁמַ֣עsha.Ma'H8085such a thing? who hath seenרָאָה֙ra.'AhH7200such things? Shall the earthאֶ֙רֶץ֙'e.retzH776be made to bring forthהֲי֤וּחַלha.Yu.chalH2342in oneH259dayבְּי֣וֹםbe.YomH3117? orshall a nationגּ֖וֹיGoyH1471be bornיִוָּ֥לֵֽדyi.Va.ledH3205at onceפַּ֣עַםPa.'amH6471?for as soon asגַּם־gam-H1571Zionצִיּ֖וֹןtzi.YonH6726travailedחָ֛לָהCha.lahH2342,she brought forthיָלְדָ֥הYal.dahH3205her childrenבָּנֶֽיהָ׃ba.Nei.haH1121.
9Shall I bring to the birthאַשְׁבִּ֛יר'ash.BirH7665,and not cause to bring forthאוֹלִ֖יד'o.LidH3205?saithיֹאמַ֣רyo.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068:shall IH589cause to bring forthהַמּוֹלִ֛ידha.mo.LidH3205,and shutוְעָצַ֖רְתִּיve.'a.Tzar.tiH6113the womb?saithאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559thy Godאֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃ ס'e.lo.Ha.yikhH430.
11That ye may suckתִּֽינְקוּ֙ti.ne.KuH3243,and be satisfiedוּשְׂבַעְתֶּ֔םu.se.va'.TemH7646with the breastsמִשֹּׁ֖דmi.ShodH7699of her consolationsתַּנְחֻמֶ֑יהָtan.chu.Mei.haH8575;that ye may milk outתָּמֹ֛צּוּta.Mo.tzuH4711,and be delightedוְהִתְעַנַּגְתֶּ֖םve.hit.'a.nag.TemH6026with the abundanceמִזִּ֥יזmi.ZizH2123of her gloryכְּבוֹדָֽהּ׃ סke.vo.DahH3519.
12For thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,Behold, I will extendנֹטֶֽה־no.teh-H5186peaceשָׁל֜וֹםsha.LomH7965to her like a riverכְּנָהָ֨רke.na.HarH5104,and the gloryכְּב֥וֹדke.VodH3519of the Gentilesגּוֹיִ֖םgo.YimH1471like a flowingשׁוֹטֵ֛ףsho.TefH7857streamוּכְנַ֧חַלu.khe.Na.chalH5158:then shall ye suckוִֽינַקְתֶּ֑םvi.nak.TemH3243,ye shall be borneתִּנָּשֵׂ֔אוּti.na.Se.'uH5375upon hersidesצַד֙tzadH6654,and be dandledתְּשָׁעֳשָֽׁעוּ׃te.sho.'o.Sha.'uH8173upon herkneesבִּרְכַּ֖יִםbir.Ka.yimH1290.
14And when ye seeוּרְאִיתֶם֙u.re.'i.TemH7200this,your heartלִבְּכֶ֔םli.be.KhemH3820shall rejoiceוְשָׂ֣שׂve.SasH7797,and your bonesוְעַצְמוֹתֵיכֶ֖םve.'atz.mo.tei.KhemH6106shall flourishתִפְרַ֑חְנָהtif.Rach.nahH6524like an herbכַּדֶּ֣שֶׁאka.De.she'H1877:and the handיַד־yad-H3027of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068shall be knownוְנוֹדְעָ֤הve.nod.'AhH3045toward his servantsעֲבָדָ֔יו'a.va.DavH5650, and hisindignationוְזָעַ֖םve.za.'AmH2194toward his enemiesאֹיְבָֽיו׃'o.ye.VavH341.
15For, behold, the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068will comeיָב֔וֹאya.Vo'H935with fireבָּאֵ֣שׁba.'EshH784,and with his chariotsמַרְכְּבֹתָ֑יוmar.ke.vo.TavH4818like a whirlwindוְכַסּוּפָ֖הve.kha.su.FahH5492,to renderלְהָשִׁ֤יבle.ha.ShivH7725his angerאַפּ֔וֹ'a.PoH639with furyבְּחֵמָה֙be.che.MahH2534,and his rebukeוְגַעֲרָת֖וֹve.ga.'a.ra.ToH1606with flamesבְּלַהֲבֵי־be.la.ha.vei-H3851of fireאֵֽשׁ׃'EshH784.
17They that sanctifyהַמִּתְקַדְּשִׁ֨יםha.mit.ka.de.ShimH6942themselves, and purifyוְהַמִּֽטַּהֲרִ֜יםve.ha.mi.ta.ha.RimH2891themselves in the gardensהַגַּנּ֗וֹתha.ga.NotH1593behindאַחַ֤ר'a.CharH310oneאַחַת֙'e.chadH259treein the midstבַּתָּ֔וֶךְba.Ta.vekhH8432,eatingאֹֽכְלֵי֙'o.khe.LeiH398swine’sהַחֲזִ֔ירha.cha.ZirH2386fleshבְּשַׂ֣רbe.SarH1320,and the abominationוְהַשֶּׁ֖קֶץve.ha.She.ketzH8263,and the mouseוְהָעַכְבָּ֑רve.ha.'akh.BarH5909,shall be consumedיָסֻ֖פוּya.Su.fuH5486togetherיַחְדָּ֥וyach.DavH3162,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
18For I knowtheir worksמַעֲשֵׂיהֶם֙ma.'a.sei.HemH4639and their thoughtsוּמַחְשְׁבֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔םu.mach.she.Vo.tei.HemH4284:it shall comeבָּאָ֕הba.'AhH935,that I will gatherלְקַבֵּ֥ץle.ka.BetzH6908all nationsהַגּוֹיִ֖םha.go.YimH1471and tonguesוְהַלְּשֹׁנ֑וֹתve.ha.le.sho.NotH3956;and they shall comeוּבָ֖אוּu.Va.'uH935,and seeוְרָא֥וּve.ra.'UH7200my gloryכְּבוֹדִֽי׃ke.vo.DiH3519.
19And I will setוְשַׂמְתִּ֨יve.sam.TiH7760a signא֗וֹת'otH226among them, and I will sendוְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֣יve.shi.lach.TiH7971those that escapeפְּ֠לֵיטִיםPe.lei.timH6412of them unto the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֞םha.go.YimH1471, toTarshishתַּרְשִׁ֨ישׁtar.ShishH8659,Pulפּ֥וּלpulH6322,and Ludוְל֛וּדve.LudH3865,that drawמֹ֥שְׁכֵיMo.she.kheiH4900the bowקֶ֖שֶׁתKe.shetH7198, toTubalתֻּבַ֣לtu.ValH8422,and Javanוְיָוָ֑ןve.ya.VanH3120, tothe islesהָאִיִּ֣יםha.'i.YimH339afar offהָרְחֹקִ֗יםha.re.cho.KimH7350,that have not heardשָׁמְע֤וּsha.me.'UH8085my fameשִׁמְעִי֙shim.'IH8088,neither have seenרָא֣וּra.'UH7200my gloryכְּבוֹדִ֔יke.vo.DiH3519;and they shall declareוְהִגִּ֥ידוּve.hi.Gi.duH5046my gloryכְּבוֹדִ֖יke.vo.DiH3519among the Gentilesבַּגּוֹיִֽם׃ba.go.YimH1471.
20And they shall bringוְהֵבִ֣יאוּve.he.Vi.'uH935all your brethrenאֲחֵיכֶ֣ם'a.chei.KhemH251foran offeringמִנְחָ֣ה׀min.ChahH4503unto the Lordלַֽיהוָ֡הla.Yah.wehH3068out of all nationsהַגּוֹיִ֣ם׀ha.go.YimH1471upon horsesבַּסּוּסִ֡יםba.su.SimH5483,and in chariotsוּ֠בָרֶכֶבU.va.re.khevH7393,and in littersוּבַצַּבִּ֨יםu.va.tza.BimH6632,and upon mulesוּבַפְּרָדִ֜יםu.va.pe.ra.DimH6505,and upon swift beastsוּבַכִּרְכָּר֗וֹתu.va.kir.ka.RotH3753,to my holyקָדְשִׁ֛יkod.shiH6944mountainהַ֥רharH2022Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֖םye.ru.sha.LimH3389,saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,as the childrenבְנֵ֨יve.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֧לYis.ra.'ElH3478bringיָבִיאוּ֩ya.vi.'UH935an offeringהַמִּנְחָ֛הha.min.ChahH4503in a cleanטָה֖וֹרta.HorH2889vesselבִּכְלִ֥יbikh.LiH3627into the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
22For as the newהַ֠חֳדָשִׁיםHa.cho.da.shimH2319heavensהַשָּׁמַ֣יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064and the newהַחֲדָשָׁ֜הha.cha.da.ShahH2319earthוְהָאָ֨רֶץve.ha.'A.retzH776,which I will makeעֹשֶׂ֛ה'o.SehH6213,shall remainעֹמְדִ֥ים'o.me.DimH5975beforeלְפָנַ֖יle.fa.NaiH6440me, saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,so shall your seedזַרְעֲכֶ֖םzar.'a.KhemH2233and your nameוְשִׁמְכֶֽם׃ve.shim.KhemH8034remainיַעֲמֹ֥דya.'a.ModH5975.
23And it shall come to pass, thatfromמִֽדֵּי־mi.dei-H1767one new moonחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙cho.deshH2320to anotherבְּחָדְשׁ֔וֹbe.cha.de.ShoH2320,and fromוּמִדֵּ֥יu.mi.DeiH1767one sabbathשַׁבָּ֖תsha.BatH7676to anotherבְּשַׁבַּתּ֑וֹbe.sha.ba.ToH7676,shall all fleshבָּשָׂ֛רba.SarH1320comeיָב֧וֹאya.Vo'H935to worshipלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹ֥תle.hish.ta.cha.VotH7812beforeלְפָנַ֖יle.fa.NaiH6440me, saithאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
24And they shall go forthוְיָצְא֣וּve.ya.tze.'UH3318,and lookוְרָא֔וּve.ra.'UH7200upon the carcasesבְּפִגְרֵי֙be.fig.ReiH6297of the menהָאֲנָשִׁ֔יםha.'a.na.ShimH582that have transgressedהַפֹּשְׁעִ֖יםha.po.she.'ImH6586against me: for their wormתוֹלַעְתָּ֞םto.la'.TamH8438shall not dieתָמ֗וּתta.MutH4191,neither shall their fireוְאִשָּׁם֙ve.'i.ShamH784be quenchedתִכְבֶּ֔הtikh.BehH3518;and they shall be an abhorringדֵרָא֖וֹןde.ra.'onH1860unto all fleshבָּשָֽׂר׃ba.SarH1320.
