7And if the manהָאִ֔ישׁha.'IshH376likeיַחְפֹּץ֙yach.PotzH2654not to takeלָקַ֖חַתla.Ka.chatH3947his brother’s wifeיְבִמְתּ֑וֹye.vim.ToH2994,then let his brother’s wifeיְבִמְתּ֨וֹye.vim.ToH2994go upוְעָלְתָה֩ve.'al.TahH5927to the gateהַשַּׁ֜עְרָהha.Sha'.rahH8179unto the eldersהַזְּקֵנִ֗יםha.ze.ke.NimH2205,and sayוְאָֽמְרָה֙ve.'a.me.RahH559,My husband’s brotherיְבָמִ֜יye.va.MiH2993refusethמֵאֵ֨יןme.'EinH3985to raise upלְהָקִ֨יםle.ha.KimH6965unto his brotherלְאָחִ֥יוle.'a.ChivH251a nameשֵׁם֙shemH8034in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478,he willאָבָ֖ה'a.VahH14not perform the duty of my husband’s brotherיַבְּמִֽי׃ya.be.MiH2992.

8Then the eldersזִקְנֵי־zik.nei-H2205of his cityעִיר֖וֹi.RoH5892shall callוְקָֽרְאוּ־ve.ka.re.'u-H7121him, and speakוְדִבְּר֣וּve.di.be.RuH1696unto him: and ifhe standוְעָמַ֣דve.'a.MadH5975to it,and sayוְאָמַ֔רve.'a.MarH559,I likeחָפַ֖צְתִּיcha.Fatz.tiH2654not to takeלְקַחְתָּֽהּ׃le.kach.TahH3947her;

9Then shall his brother’s wifeיְבִמְתּ֣וֹye.vim.ToH2994comeוְנִגְּשָׁ֨הve.ni.ge.ShahH5066unto him in the presenceלְעֵינֵ֣יle.'ei.NeiH5869of the eldersהַזְּקֵנִים֒ha.ze.ke.NimH2205,and looseוְחָלְצָ֤הve.chal.TzahH2502his shoeנַעֲלוֹ֙na.'a.LoH5275from off his footרַגְל֔וֹrag.LoH7272,and spitוְיָרְקָ֖הve.ya.re.KahH3417in his faceבְּפָנָ֑יוbe.fa.NavH6440,and shall answerוְעָֽנְתָה֙ve.'a.ne.TahH6030and sayוְאָ֣מְרָ֔הve.'A.me.RahH559,So shall it be doneיֵעָשֶׂ֣הye.'a.SehH6213unto that manלָאִ֔ישׁla.'IshH376that will not build upיִבְנֶ֖הyiv.NehH1129his brother’sאָחִֽיו'a.ChivH251houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004.
