Job 8:11-22
11Does papyrusH1573 growH1342 where there is noH3808 marshH1207? Do reedsH260 flourishH7685 withoutH1097 waterH4325?12WhileH5750 the shootsH3 are still uncutH3808H6998, they dry upH3001 more quickly thanH6440 grassH3605H2682.
13SuchH3651 is the destinyH734 of allH3605 who forgetH7911 GodH410;so the hopeH8615 of the godlessH2611 will perishH6.14HisH834 confidenceH3689 is fragileH6990;his securityH4009 is in a spider’sH5908 webH1004.15He leansH8172 onH5921 his webH1004, but it gives wayH3808H5975;he holds fastH2388, but it does notH3808 endureH6965.16HeH1931 is a well-watered plantH7373 inH6440 the sunshineH8121,spreadingH3318 its shootsH3127 overH5921 the gardenH1593.17His rootsH8328 wrapH5440 aroundH5921 the rock heapH1530;he looks forH2372 a home amongH1004 the stonesH68.18IfH518 he is uprootedH1104 from his placeH4725,it will disownH3584 him, saying, ‘I neverH3808 saw youH7200.’19SurelyH2005 thisH1931 is the joyH4885 of his wayH1870;yet othersH312 will springH6779 from the dustH6083.
20BeholdH2005, GodH410 does notH3808 rejectH3988 the blamelessH8535,nor will HeH3808 strengthenH2388 the handH3027 of evildoersH7489.21He will yetH5704 fill your mouthH6310 withH4390 laughterH7814,and your lipsH8193 with a shout of joyH8643.22Your enemiesH8130 will be clothedH3847 in shameH1322,and the tentH168 of the wickedH7563 will be no moreH369.”
