6So she went downוַתֵּ֖רֶדva.Te.redH3381to the threshing floorהַגֹּ֑רֶןha.Go.renH1637and didוַתַּ֕עַשׂva.Ta.'asH6213everythingכְּכֹ֥לke.KholH3605אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834her mother-in-lawחֲמוֹתָֽהּ׃cha.mo.TahH2545had instructed herצִוַּ֖תָּהtzi.Va.tahH6680to do.

7After Boazבֹּ֤עַזBo.'azH1162had finished eatingוַיֹּ֨אכַלvai.Yo.khalH398and drinkingוַיֵּשְׁתְּ֙vai.ye.sheTH8354and was in good spiritsוַיִּיטַ֣ב לִבּ֔וֹvai.yi.Tav li.BoH3190 H3820,he wentוַיָּבֹ֕אvai.ya.Vo'H935to lie downלִשְׁכַּ֖בlish.KavH7901at the endבִּקְצֵ֣הbik.TzehH7097of the heap of grainהָעֲרֵמָ֑הha.'a.re.MahH6194.Then Ruth went in secretlyוַתָּבֹ֣א בַלָּ֔טva.ta.Vo' va.LatH935 H3909,uncoveredוַתְּגַ֥לva.te.GalH1540his feetמַרְגְּלֹתָ֖יוmar.ge.lo.TavH4772,and lay downוַתִּשְׁכָּֽב׃va.tish.KavH7901.

8וַיְהִי֙vay.HiH1961At midnightבַּחֲצִ֣י הַלַּ֔יְלָהba.cha.Tzi ha.Lay.lahH2677 H3915,Boazהָאִ֖ישׁha.'IshH376was startledוַיֶּחֱרַ֥דvai.ye.che.RadH2729,turned overוַיִּלָּפֵ֑תvai.yi.la.FetH3943,and thereוְהִנֵּ֣הve.hi.NehH2009lyingשֹׁכֶ֖בֶתsho.Khe.vetH7901at his feetמַרְגְּלֹתָֽיו׃mar.ge.lo.TavH4772was a womanאִשָּׁ֔ה'i.ShahH802!

9“Whoמִי־mi-H4310are youאָ֑תּ'AtH859?”he askedוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559. “Iאָנֹכִי֙'a.no.KhiH595amyour servantאֲמָתֶ֔ךָ'a.ma.Te.khaH519Ruthר֣וּתrutH7327,”she repliedוַתֹּ֗אמֶרva.To.merH559. “Spreadוּפָרַשְׂתָּ֤u.fa.ras.TaH6566the corner of your garmentכְנָפֶ֙ךָ֙khe.na.Fe.khaH3671overעַל־'al-H5921meאֲמָ֣תְךָ֔'a.Ma.te.khaH519,forכִּ֥יkiH3588youאָֽתָּה׃'A.tahH859are a kinsman-redeemerגֹאֵ֖לgo.'ElH1350.”

10Then Boaz saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “May the LORDלַֽיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068blessבְּרוּכָ֨הbe.ru.KhahH1288youאַ֤תְּ'atH859,my daughterבִּתִּ֔יbi.TiH1323.You have shownהֵיטַ֛בְתְּhei.TavtH3190more kindnessחַסְדֵּ֥ךְchas.DekhH2617nowהָאַחֲר֖וֹןha.'a.cha.RonH314thanמִן־min-H4480beforeהָרִאשׁ֑וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223,because you have notלְבִלְתִּי־le.vil.ti-H1115runלֶ֗כֶתLe.khetH1980afterאַחֲרֵי֙'a.cha.ReiH310the younger menהַבַּ֣חוּרִ֔יםha.Ba.chu.RimH970,whetherאִם־'im-H518richעָשִֽׁיר׃'a.ShirH6223orוְאִם־ve.'im-H518poorדַּ֖לdalH1800.

11And nowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258do notאַל־'al-H408be afraidתִּ֣ירְאִ֔יtir.'IH3372,my daughterבִּתִּי֙bi.TiH1323.I will doאֶֽעֱשֶׂה־'e.'e.seh-H6213for youwhateverכֹּ֥לkolH3605אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834you requestתֹּאמְרִ֖יtom.RiH559,sinceכִּ֤יkiH3588allכָּל־kol-H3605my fellow townspeopleשַׁ֣עַר עַמִּ֔יSha.'ar 'a.MiH5971 H8179knowיוֹדֵ֙עַ֙yo.De.a'H3045thatכִּ֛יkiH3588youאָֽתְּ׃'AtH859are a womanאֵ֥שֶׁת'E.shetH802of noble characterחַ֖יִלCha.yilH2428.

12וְעַתָּה֙ve.'a.TahH6258Yesכִּ֣יkiH3588,it is trueאָמְנָ֔ם'a.me.NamH551thatכִּ֥יkiH3588Iאָנֹ֑כִי'a.No.khiH595amH518a kinsman-redeemerגֹאֵ֖לgo.'ElH1350,butוְגַ֛םve.GamH1571there isיֵ֥שׁyeshH3426a redeemerגֹּאֵ֖לgo.'ElH1350nearerקָר֥וֹבka.RovH7138than Iמִמֶּֽנִּי׃mi.Me.niH4480.

13Stay here tonightלִ֣ינִי׀ הַלַּ֗יְלָה וְהָיָ֤הLi.ni ha.Lay.lah ve.ha.YahH3885 H3915 H1961,and in the morningבַבֹּ֙קֶר֙va.Bo.kerH1242,ifאִם־'im-H518he wants to redeem youיִגְאָלֵ֥ךְyig.'a.LekhH1350,goodטוֹב֙tOvH2896.Let him redeem youיִגְאָ֔לyig.'AlH1350.But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518he does notלֹ֨אlo'H3808wantיַחְפֹּ֧ץyach.PotzH2654to redeem youלְגָֽאֳלֵ֛ךְle.go.'o.LekhH1350,as surely as the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068livesחַי־chai-H2416,Iאָנֹ֖כִי'a.No.khiH595willוּגְאַלְתִּ֥יךְu.ge.'al.TikhH1350.Now lie hereשִׁכְבִ֖יshikh.ViH7901untilעַד־'ad-H5704morningהַבֹּֽקֶר׃ha.Bo.kerH1242.”
