27So You delivered themוַֽתִּתְּנֵם֙va.ti.te.NemH5414into the handsבְּיַ֣דbe.YadH3027of enemiesצָֽרֵיהֶ֔םtza.rei.HemH6862who oppressedוַיָּצֵ֖רוּvai.ya.Tze.ruH3334them,and in their timeוּבְעֵ֤תu.ve.'EtH6256of distressצָֽרָתָם֙tza.ra.TamH6869they cried outיִצְעֲק֣וּyitz.'a.KuH6817to Youאֵלֶ֔יךָ'e.Lei.khaH413.From heavenמִשָּׁמַ֣יִםmi.sha.Ma.yimH8064Youוְאַתָּה֙ve.'a.TahH859heard themתִּשְׁמָ֔עtish.Ma'H8085,and in Your greatהָֽרַבִּ֗יםha.ra.BimH7227compassionוּֽכְרַחֲמֶ֣יךָu.khe.ra.cha.Mei.khaH7356You gaveתִּתֵּ֤ןti.TenH5414themdeliverersמֽוֹשִׁיעִ֔יםmo.shi.'ImH3467who saved themוְיוֹשִׁיע֖וּםve.yo.shi.'UmH3467from the handsמִיַּ֥דmi.YadH3027of their enemiesצָרֵיהֶֽם׃tza.rei.HemH6862.
28But as soon as they had restוּכְנ֣וֹחַu.khe.No.achH5117,they againיָשׁ֕וּבוּya.Shu.vuH7725didלַעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213evilרַ֖עra'H7451in Your sightלְפָנֶ֑יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440.So You abandoned themוַתַּֽעַזְבֵ֞םva.ta.'az.VemH5800to the handsבְּיַ֤דbe.YadH3027of their enemiesאֹֽיְבֵיהֶם֙'o.ye.vei.HemH341,who had dominionוַיִּרְדּ֣וּvai.yir.DuH7287over them.When they cried outוַיִּזְעָק֔וּךָvai.yiz.'a.Ku.chaH2199to You againוַיָּשׁ֙וּבוּ֙vai.ya.Shu.vuH7725,Youוְאַתָּ֞הve.'a.TahH859heardתִּשְׁמַ֛עtish.Ma'H8085from heavenמִשָּׁמַ֧יִםmi.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and You delivered themוְתַצִּילֵ֥םve.ta.tzi.LemH5337manyרַבּ֥וֹתra.BotH7227timesעִתִּֽים׃'i.TimH6256in Your compassionכְּֽרַחֲמֶ֖יךָke.ra.cha.Mei.khaH7356.
29You admonishedוַתָּ֨עַדva.Ta.'adH5749themto turn backלַהֲשִׁיבָ֣םla.ha.shi.VamH7725toאֶל־'el-H413Your lawתּוֹרָתֶ֗ךָto.ra.Te.khaH8451,but theyוְהֵ֨מָּהve.He.mahH1992were arrogantהֵזִ֜ידוּhe.Zi.duH2102and disobeyedוְלֹא־ שָׁמְע֤וּve.lo'- sha.me.'UH3808H8085Your commandmentsלְמִצְוֹתֶ֙יךָ֙le.mitz.vo.Tei.khaH4687.They sinnedחָֽטְאוּ־cha.te.'u-H2398againstYour ordinancesוּבְמִשְׁפָּטֶ֣יךָu.ve.mish.pa.Tei.khaH4941,by which a manאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120will liveוְחָיָ֣הve.cha.YahH2421if he practicesיַעֲשֶׂ֥הya.'a.SehH6213themאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834.They turnedוַיִּתְּנ֤וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414a stubbornסוֹרֶ֔רֶתso.Re.retH5637shoulderכָתֵף֙kha.TefH3802;they stiffenedהִקְשׁ֖וּhik.ShuH7185their necksוְעָרְפָּ֥םve.'a.re.PamH6203and would notוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808obeyשָׁמֵֽעוּ׃sha.Me.'uH8085.
30You were patientוַתִּמְשֹׁ֤ךְva.tim.ShokhH4900with themעֲלֵיהֶם֙'a.lei.HemH5921for manyרַבּ֔וֹתra.BotH7227yearsשָׁנִ֣יםsha.NimH8141,and Your Spiritבְּרוּחֲךָ֛be.ru.cha.KhaH7307admonishedוַתָּ֨עַדva.Ta.'adH5749themthroughבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027Your prophetsנְבִיאֶ֖יךָne.vi.'Ei.khaH5030.Yet they would notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808listenהֶאֱזִ֑ינוּhe.'e.Zi.nuH238,so You gave themוַֽתִּתְּנֵ֔םva.ti.te.NemH5414into the handsבְּיַ֖דbe.YadH3027of the neighboring peoplesעַמֵּ֥י הָאֲרָצֹֽת׃'a.Mei ha.'a.ra.TzotH5971H776.
