8So they readוַֽיִּקְרְא֥וּvai.yik.re.'UH7121from the Bookבַסֵּ֛פֶרva.Se.ferH5612of the Lawבְּתוֹרַ֥תbe.to.RatH8451of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,explaining itמְפֹרָ֑שׁme.fo.RashH6567and givingוְשׂ֣וֹםve.SomH7760insightשֶׂ֔כֶלSe.khelH7922,so that the people could understandוַיָּבִ֖ינוּvai.ya.Vi.nuH995what was being readבַּמִּקְרָֽא׃ סba.mik.Ra'H4744.

10Then Nehemiah toldוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559them, “Goלְכוּ֩le.KhuH1980and eatאִכְל֨וּ'ikh.LuH398what is richמַשְׁמַנִּ֜יםmash.ma.NimH4924,drinkוּשְׁת֣וּu.she.TuH8354what is sweetמַֽמְתַקִּ֗יםmam.ta.KimH4477,and send outוְשִׁלְח֤וּve.shil.ChuH7971portionsמָנוֹת֙ma.nOtH4490to those who have nothingלְאֵ֣יןle.'EinH369preparedנָכ֣וֹןna.KhonH3559,sinceכִּֽי־ki-H3588todayהַיּ֖וֹםhai.YomH3117is holyקָד֥וֹשׁka.Do.oshH6918to our Lordלַאֲדֹנֵ֑ינוּla.'a.do.Nei.nuH113.Do notוְאַל־ve.'al-H408grieveתֵּ֣עָצֵ֔בוּte.'a.Tze.vuH6087,forכִּֽי־ki-H3588the joyחֶדְוַ֥תched.VatH2304of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068isהִ֥יאhi'H1931your strengthמָֽעֻזְּכֶֽם׃Ma.'u.ze.KhemH4581.”
