10Then Nehemiah toldוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559them, “Goלְכוּ֩le.KhuH1980and eatאִכְל֨וּ'ikh.LuH398what is richמַשְׁמַנִּ֜יםmash.ma.NimH4924,drinkוּשְׁת֣וּu.she.TuH8354what is sweetמַֽמְתַקִּ֗יםmam.ta.KimH4477,and send outוְשִׁלְח֤וּve.shil.ChuH7971portionsמָנוֹת֙ma.nOtH4490to those who have nothingלְאֵ֣יןle.'EinH369preparedנָכ֣וֹןna.KhonH3559,sinceכִּֽי־ki-H3588todayהַיּ֖וֹםhai.YomH3117is holyקָד֥וֹשׁka.Do.oshH6918to our Lordלַאֲדֹנֵ֑ינוּla.'a.do.Nei.nuH113.Do notוְאַל־ve.'al-H408grieveתֵּ֣עָצֵ֔בוּte.'a.Tze.vuH6087,forכִּֽי־ki-H3588the joyחֶדְוַ֥תched.VatH2304of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068isהִ֥יאhi'H1931your strengthמָֽעֻזְּכֶֽם׃Ma.'u.ze.KhemH4581.”

11And the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּ֞םve.hal.vi.YimH3881calmedמַחְשִׁ֤יםmach.ShimH2814allלְכָל־le.kholH3605the peopleהָעָם֙ha.'AmH5971,sayingלֵאמֹ֣רle.MorH559, “Be stillהַ֔סּוּHa.suH2013,sinceכִּ֥יkiH3588todayהַיּ֖וֹםhai.YomH3117is holyקָדֹ֑שׁka.DoshH6918.Do notוְאַל־ve.'al-H408grieveתֵּעָצֵֽבוּ׃te.'a.Tze.vuH6087.”

12וַיֵּלְכ֨וּvai.ye.le.KhuH1980Then allכָל־khol-H3605the peopleהָעָ֜םha.'AmH5971began to eatלֶאֱכֹ֤לle.'e.KholH398and drinkוְלִשְׁתּוֹת֙ve.lish.tOtH8354,to send outוּלְשַׁלַּ֣חu.le.sha.LachH7971portionsמָנ֔וֹתma.NotH4490,andוְלַעֲשׂ֖וֹתve.la.'a.SotH6213to rejoiceשִׂמְחָ֣הsim.ChahH8057greatlyגְדוֹלָ֑הge.do.LahH1419,becauseכִּ֤יkiH3588they understoodהֵבִ֙ינוּ֙he.Vi.nuH995the wordsבַּדְּבָרִ֔יםba.de.va.RimH1697thatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834had been made knownהוֹדִ֖יעוּho.Di.'uH3045to them.

14And they foundוַֽיִּמְצְא֖וּvai.yim.tze.'UH4672writtenכָּת֣וּבka.TuvH3789in the Lawבַּתּוֹרָ֑הba.to.RahH8451,whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068had commandedצִוָּ֤הtzi.VahH6680throughבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872,thatאֲשֶׁר֩'a.SherH834the Israelitesבְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֧לve.nei- Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478were to dwellיֵשְׁב֨וּye.she.VuH3427in boothsבַּסֻּכּ֛וֹתba.su.KotH5521during the feastבֶּחָ֖גbe.ChagH2282of the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִֽי׃ha.she.vi.'IH7637monthבַּחֹ֥דֶשׁba.Cho.deshH2320,

16And the peopleהָעָם֮ha.'AmH5971went outוַיֵּצְא֣וּvai.ye.tze.'UH3318,brought backוַיָּבִיאוּ֒vai.ya.vi.'UH935branches,and madeוַיַּעֲשׂוּ֩vai.ya.'a.SuH6213boothsסֻכּ֜וֹתsu.KotH5521onעַל־'al-H5921their ownאִ֤ישׁ'ishH376rooftopsגַּגּוֹ֙ga.GoH1406,in their courtyardsוּבְחַצְרֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔םu.ve.chatz.Ro.tei.HemH2691,in the courtsוּבְחַצְר֖וֹתu.ve.chatz.RotH2691of the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,and in the squaresוּבִרְחוֹב֙u.vir.chOvH7339by the Waterהַמַּ֔יִםha.Ma.yimH4325Gateשַׁ֣עַרSha.'arH8179andוּבִרְח֖וֹבu.vir.ChovH7339by the Gateשַׁ֥עַרSha.'arH8179of Ephraimאֶפְרָֽיִם׃'ef.Ra.yimH669.
