7By presentingמַגִּישִׁ֤יםma.gi.ShimH5066defiledמְגֹאָ֔לme.go.'AlH1351foodלֶ֣חֶםLe.chemH3899onעַֽל־'al-H5921My altarמִזְבְּחִי֙miz.be.ChiH4196.But you askוַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖םva.'a.mar.TemH559, ‘Howבַּמֶּ֣הba.MehH4100have we defiled Youגֵֽאַלְנ֑וּךָge.'al.Nu.khaH1351?’By saying thatבֶּאֱמָרְכֶ֕םbe.'e.ma.re.KhemH559the tableשֻׁלְחַ֥ןshul.ChanH7979of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068is contemptibleנִבְזֶ֥ה הֽוּא׃niv.Zeh Hu'H959 H1931.

8Whenוְכִֽי־ve.khi-H3588you offerתַגִּשׁ֨וּןta.gi.ShunH5066blind animalsעִוֵּ֤ר'i.VerH5787for sacrificeלִזְבֹּ֙חַ֙liz.Bo.achH2076,is it notאֵ֣ין'einH369wrongרָ֔עRa'H7451?And whenוְכִ֥יve.KhiH3588you presentתַגִּ֛ישׁוּta.Gi.shuH5066the lameפִּסֵּ֥חַpi.Se.achH6455and sickוְחֹלֶ֖הve.cho.LehH2470ones,is it notאֵ֣ין'einH369wrongרָ֑עRa'H7451?Try offering themהַקְרִיבֵ֨הוּ נָ֜אhak.ri.Ve.hu na'H7126 H4994to your governorלְפֶחָתֶ֗ךָle.fe.cha.Te.khaH6346!Would he be pleasedהֲיִרְצְךָ֙ha.yir.tze.KhaH7521with you orא֚וֹ'oH176show you favorהֲיִשָּׂ֣א פָנֶ֔יךָha.yi.Sa' fa.Nei.khaH5375 H6440?”asksאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

9“But ask nowוְעַתָּ֛הve.'a.TahH6258for God’sאֵ֖ל'elH410favorחַלּוּ־ נָ֥א פְנֵי־cha.lu- na' fe.nei-H2470 H4994 H6440.Will He be graciousוִֽיחָנֵ֑נוּvi.cha.Ne.nuH2603?Since thisזֹּ֔אתZotH2063has comeהָ֣יְתָהHa.ye.tahH1961fromyour handsמִיֶּדְכֶם֙mi.yed.KhemH3027,will He show you favorהֲיִשָּׂ֤א פָּנִ֔יםha.yi.Sa' pa.NimH5375 H6440?”asksאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

10“Ohמִ֤יmiH4310,that oneגַם־gam-H1571of youwould shutוְיִסְגֹּ֣רve.yis.GorH5462the temple doorsדְּלָתַ֔יִםde.la.Ta.yimH1817,so that you would noוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808longer kindleתָאִ֥ירוּta.'I.ruH215uselessחִנָּ֑םchi.NamH2600fires on My altarמִזְבְּחִ֖יmiz.be.ChiH4196!I take noאֵֽין־'ein-H369pleasureחֵ֜פֶץChe.fetzH2656in you,”saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, “and I will acceptאֶרְצֶ֥ה'er.TzehH7521noלֹֽא־lo'-H3808offeringוּמִנְחָ֖הu.min.ChahH4503from your handsמִיֶּדְכֶֽם׃mi.yed.KhemH3027.

11Forכִּ֣יkiH3588My nameשְׁמִי֙she.MiH8034will be greatגָּד֤וֹלga.DolH1419among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֔םba.go.YimH1471,from where the sun risesמִמִּזְרַח־mi.miz.rach-H4217toוְעַד־ve.'ad-H5704where it setsשֶׁ֜מֶשׁ מְבוֹא֗וֹShe.mesh me.vo.'OH3996 H8121.In everyוּבְכָל־u.ve.Khol-H3605placeמָק֗וֹםma.KomH4725,incenseמֻקְטָ֥רmuk.TarH6999and pureטְהוֹרָ֑הte.ho.RahH2889offeringsוּמִנְחָ֣הu.min.ChahH4503will bepresentedמֻגָּ֛שׁmu.GashH5066in My nameלִשְׁמִ֖יlish.MiH8034,becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588My nameשְׁמִי֙she.MiH8034will be greatגָד֤וֹלga.DolH1419among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֔םba.go.YimH1471,”saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

12“But youוְאַתֶּ֖םve.'a.TemH859profaneמְחַלְּלִ֣יםme.cha.le.LimH2490itאוֹת֑וֹ'o.ToH853when you sayבֶּאֱמָרְכֶ֗םbe.'e.ma.re.KhemH559, ‘The tableשֻׁלְחַ֤ןshul.ChanH7979of the Lordאֲדֹנָי֙'a.do.NaiH136isה֔וּאHu'H1931defiledמְגֹאָ֣לme.go.'AlH1351,and as for its fruitוְנִיב֖וֹve.ni.VoH5108,its foodאָכְלֽוֹ׃'a.khe.LoH400is contemptibleנִבְזֶ֥הniv.ZehH959.’

13You also sayוַאֲמַרְתֶּם֩va.'a.mar.TemH559: ‘Ohהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009,what a nuisanceמַתְּלָאָ֜הma.te.la.'AhH4100!’And you turn up your nose atוְהִפַּחְתֶּ֣םve.hi.pach.TemH5301itאוֹת֗וֹ'o.ToH853,”saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635. “You bringוַהֲבֵאתֶ֣םva.ha.ve.TemH935offeringsהַמִּנְחָ֑הha.min.ChahH4503that arestolenגָּז֗וּלga.ZulH1497וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853,lameהַפִּסֵּ֙חַ֙ha.pi.Se.achH6455וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853,or sickהַ֣חוֹלֶ֔הha.cho.LehH2470וַהֲבֵאתֶ֖םva.ha.ve.TemH935אֶת־'et-H853!Should I acceptהַאֶרְצֶ֥הha.'er.TzehH7521theseאוֹתָ֛הּ'o.TahH853from your handsמִיֶּדְכֶ֖םmi.yed.KhemH3027?”asksאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.
