8I will makeוְשַׂמְתִּי֙ve.sam.TiH7760אֶת־'et-H853thisהַזֹּ֔אתha.ZotH2063cityהָעִ֣ירha.'IrH5892a desolationלְשַׁמָּ֖הle.sha.MahH8047and an object of scornוְלִשְׁרֵקָ֑הve.lish.re.KahH8322.Allכֹּ֚לkolH3605who passעֹבֵ֣ר'o.VerH5674byעָלֶ֔יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921will be appalledיִשֹּׁ֥םyi.ShomH8074and will scoffוְיִשְׁרֹ֖קve.yish.RokH8319atעַל־'al-H5921allכָּל־kol-H3605her woundsמַכֹּתֶֽהָ׃ma.ko.Te.haH4347.

9I will make them eatוְהַֽאֲכַלְתִּ֞יםve.ha.'a.khal.TimH398אֶת־'et-H853the fleshבְּשַׂ֣רbe.SarH1320of their sonsבְּנֵיהֶ֗םbe.nei.HemH1121andוְאֵת֙ve.'EtH853בְּשַׂ֣רbe.SarH1320daughtersבְּנֹתֵיהֶ֔םbe.no.tei.HemH1323,and they will eatיֹאכֵ֑לוּyo.Khe.luH398oneוְאִ֥ישׁve.'IshH376another’sרֵעֵ֖הוּre.'E.huH7453fleshבְּשַׂר־be.sar-H1320in the siegeבְּמָצוֹר֙be.ma.tzOrH4692and distressוּבְמָצ֔וֹקu.ve.ma.TzokH4689אֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834inflictedיָצִ֧יקוּya.Tzi.kuH6693on themby their enemiesאֹיְבֵיהֶ֖ם'o.ye.vei.HemH341who seekוּמְבַקְשֵׁ֥יu.me.vak.SheiH1245their livesנַפְשָֽׁם׃naf.ShamH5315.’
