Zechariah 9:1-8
1The burdenH4853 of the wordH1697 of Jehovah upon the landH776 of Hadrach, and DamascusH1834 shall be its resting-place (for the eyeH5869 of manH120 and of all the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478 is toward Jehovah); 2and HamathH2574, alsoH1571, which bordereth thereon; TyreH6865 and SidonH6721, because they are veryH3966 wiseH2449. 3And TyreH6865 did buildH1129 herself a stronghold, and heaped up silverH3701 as the dustH6083, and fine goldH2742 as the mire of the streetsH2351. 4Behold, the LordH136 will dispossessH3423 her, and he will smite her power in the seaH3220; and she shall be devouredH398 with fireH784. 5AshkelonH831 shall seeH7200 it, and fearH3372; GazaH5804 also, and shall be sore pained; and EkronH6138, for her expectation shall be putH954 to shameH954; and the kingH4428 shall perishH6 from GazaH5804, and AshkelonH831 shall not be inhabitedH3427. 6And a bastard shall dwellH3427 in AshdodH795, and I will cutH3772 off the prideH1347 of the PhilistinesH6430. 7And I will take awayH5493 his bloodH1818 out of his mouthH6310, and his abominationsH8251 from between his teethH8127; and he alsoH1571 shall beH1961 a remnantH7604 for our GodH430; and he shall beH1961 as a chieftain in JudahH3063, and EkronH6138 as a JebusiteH2983.
8And I will encampH2583 about my houseH1004 against the army, that none passH5674 through or returnH7725; and no oppressorH5065 shall passH5674 through them any more: for nowH6258 have I seenH7200 with mine eyesH5869.
