Nehemiah 12:27-40

27And at the dedicationH2598 of the wallH2346 of JerusalemH3389 they soughtH1245 the LevitesH3881 out of all their placesH4725, to bringH935 them to JerusalemH3389, to keep the dedicationH2598 with gladnessH8057, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbalsH4700, psalteries, and with harpsH3658. 28And the sonsH1121 of the singersH7891 gatheredH622 themselves together, both out of the plain roundH5439 about JerusalemH3389, and from the villages of the Netophathites; 29also from Beth-gilgal, and out of the fieldsH7704 of GebaH1387 and AzmavethH5820: for the singersH7891 had builded them villages roundH5439 about JerusalemH3389. 30And the priestsH3548 and the LevitesH3881 purifiedH2891 themselves; and they purifiedH2891 the peopleH5971, and the gatesH8179, and the wallH2346.

31Then I broughtH5927 up the princesH8269 of JudahH3063 upon the wallH2346, and appointedH5975 twoH8147 greatH1419 companies that gave thanks and wentH5927 in procession; whereof one wentH5927 on the rightH3225 handH3225 upon the wallH2346 toward the dung gateH8179: 32and after them went HoshaiahH1955, and halfH2677 of the princesH8269 of JudahH3063, 33and AzariahH5838, EzraH5830, and MeshullamH4918, 34JudahH3063, and BenjaminH1144, and ShemaiahH8098, and JeremiahH3414, 35and certain of the priests’H3548 sonsH1121 with trumpetsH2689: ZechariahH2148 the sonH1121 of JonathanH3129, the sonH1121 of ShemaiahH8098, the sonH1121 of MattaniahH4983, the sonH1121 of MicaiahH4320, the sonH1121 of ZaccurH2139, the sonH1121 of AsaphH623; 36and his brethren, ShemaiahH8098, and AzarelH5832, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, NethanelH5417, and JudahH3063, HananiH2607, with the musical instrumentsH3627 of DavidH1732 the manH376 of GodH430; and EzraH5830 the scribeH5608 was before them. 37And by the fountain gateH8179, and straight before them, they wentH5927 up by the stairs of the cityH5892 of DavidH1732, at the ascentH4608 of the wallH2346, above the houseH1004 of DavidH1732, even unto the waterH4325 gateH8179 eastward.

38And the other company of them that gave thanks wentH1980 to meet them, and I after them, with the halfH2677 of the peopleH5971, upon the wallH2346, above the towerH4026 of the furnacesH8574, even unto the broadH7342 wallH2346, 39and above the gateH8179 of EphraimH669, and by the old gateH8179, and by the fishH1709 gateH8179, and the towerH4026 of HananelH2606, and the towerH4026 of Hammeah, even unto the sheepH6629 gateH8179: and they stoodH5975 stillH5975 in the gateH8179 of the guardH4307. 40So stoodH5975 the twoH8147 companies of them that gave thanks in the houseH1004 of GodH430, and I, and the halfH2677 of the rulers with me;
