Malachi 3:1-5
Behold, I sendH7971 my messengerH4397, and he shall prepare the wayH1870 before me: and the Lord, whom ye seekH1245, will suddenlyH6597 comeH935 to his templeH1964; and the messengerH4397 of the covenantH1285, whom ye desire, behold, he cometh, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635.
But who can abide the dayH3117 of his comingH935? and who shall standH5975 when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fireH784, and like fullers’ soapH1287:
and he will sitH3427 as a refiner and purifier of silverH3701, and he will purifyH2891 the sonsH1121 of LeviH3878, and refineH6884 them as goldH2091 and silverH3701; and they shall offer unto Jehovah offeringsH4503 in righteousnessH6666.
Then shall the offeringH4503 of JudahH3063 and JerusalemH3389 be pleasant unto Jehovah, as in the daysH3117 of old, and as in ancient yearsH8141.
And I will come near to you to judgmentH4941; and I will beH1961 a swift witnessH5707 against the sorcerersH3784, and against the adulterersH5003, and against the false swearers, and against those that oppressH6231 the hireling in his wagesH7939, the widowH490, and the fatherlessH3490, and that turnH5186 asideH5186 the sojournerH1616 from his rightH4941, and fearH3372 not me, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635.
