Malachi 2:4-10
4And ye shall knowH3045 that I have sentH7971 this commandmentH4687 unto you, that my covenantH1285 may beH1961 with LeviH3878, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635. 5My covenantH1285 was with him of lifeH2416 and peaceH7965; and I gaveH5414 them to him that he might fearH3372; and he fearedH3372 me, and stood in awe of my nameH8034. 6The lawH8451 of truthH571 wasH1961 in his mouthH6310, and unrighteousnessH5766 wasH1961 not foundH4672 in his lipsH8193: he walkedH1980 with me in peaceH7965 and uprightnessH4334, and turnedH7725 manyH7227 awayH7725 from iniquityH5771. 7For the priest’sH3548 lipsH8193 should keepH8104 knowledgeH1847, and they should seekH1245 the lawH8451 at his mouthH6310; for he is the messengerH4397 of Jehovah of hostsH6635. 8But ye are turnedH5493 asideH5493 out of the wayH1870; ye have caused manyH7227 to stumbleH3782 in the lawH8451; ye have corruptedH7843 the covenantH1285 of LeviH3878, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635. 9Therefore have I alsoH1571 madeH5414 you contemptible and base before all the peopleH5971, according as ye have not keptH8104 my waysH1870, but have had respect of persons in the lawH8451.
10Have we not all oneH259 fatherH1? hath not oneH259 GodH410 createdH1254 us? whyH4069 do we dealH898 treacherouslyH898 every manH376 against his brotherH251, profaningH2490 the covenantH1285 of our fathersH1?
