Job 9:16-23
16If I had calledH7121, and he had answeredH6030 me,Yet would I not believeH539 that he hearkened unto my voiceH6963.17For he breaketh me with a tempest,And multiplieth my woundsH6482 without causeH2600.18He will not suffer me to take my breathH7307,But filleth me with bitterness.19Ifwe speakof strengthH3581, lo, he ismighty! And if of justiceH4941, Who, saith he, will summonH3259 me?20Though I be righteousH6663, mine own mouthH6310 shall condemnH7561 me:Though I be perfectH8535, it shall prove me perverse.21I am perfectH8535; I regard not myself;I despise my lifeH5315.22It is all oneH259; thereforeH3651 I sayH559,He destroyeth the perfectH8535 and the wickedH7563.23If the scourgeH7752 slay suddenlyH6597,He will mockH3932 at the trial of the innocentH5355.
