Revised Version 1895
Jeremiah 23:10-14
10For the landH776 is fullH4390 of adulterersH5003; for becauseH3588 of swearing the landH776 mourneth; the pasturesH4999 of the wildernessH4057 are driedH3001 upH3001; and their courseH4794 is evilH7451, and their force is notH3808 rightH3651.
11for bothH1571 prophetH5030 and priestH3548 are profane; yeaH3588, in my houseH1004 have I foundH4672 their wickednessH7451, saith the LORDH3068.
12Wherefore their wayH1870 shall be unto them as slipperyH2519 placesH3651 in the darknessH653: they shall be driven on, and fallH5307 therein: for I will bringH935 evilH7451 uponH5921 them, evenH3588 the yearH8141 of their visitation, saith the LORDH3068.
13And I have seenH7200 follyH8604 in the prophetsH5030 of SamariaH8111; they prophesiedH5012 by BaalH1168, and caused my peopleH5971 IsraelH3478 to errH8582.
14In the prophetsH5030 of JerusalemH3389 also I have seenH7200 an horrible thingH7451; they commitH5003 adulteryH5003, and walkH1980 in liesH8267, and they strengthenH2388 the handsH3027 of evil-doers, that noneH3605 doth returnH7725 from his wickednessH7451: they are allH3605 of them becomeH1961 unto meH7725 as SodomH5467, and the inhabitantsH3427 thereof as GomorrahH6017.
