Jeremiah 21:4-10
ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, BeholdH2005, I will turnH5437 backH5437 the weaponsH3627 of warH4421 that are in your handsH3027; wherewith ye fightH3898 againstH5921 the kingH4428 of BabylonH894, and againstH5921 the ChaldeansH3778 whichH834 besiege youH859, without the wallsH2346, and I will gatherH622 them intoH413 the midstH8432 of this cityH5892.
And I myselfH589 will fightH3898 againstH854 youH3027 with an outstretchedH5186 handH3027 and with a strongH2389 armH2220, even in angerH639, and in furyH2534, and in greatH1419 wrathH2534.
And I will smiteH5221 the inhabitantsH3427 of this cityH5892, bothH4191 manH120 and beastH929: they shall dieH4191 of a greatH1419 pestilenceH1698.
And afterwardH310, saith the LORDH3068, I will deliverH5414 ZedekiahH6667 kingH4428 of JudahH3063, and his servantsH5650, and the peopleH5971, evenH3808 suchH3651 as are leftH7604 in this cityH5892 from the pestilenceH1698, from the swordH2719, and from the famineH7458, intoH5921 the handH3027 of NebuchadrezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894, and intoH5921 the handH3027 of their enemiesH341, and intoH5921 the handH3027 of thoseH4480 that seekH1245 their lifeH5315: and he shall smiteH5221 them with the edgeH6310 of the swordH2719; he shall notH3808 spareH2550 them, neitherH3808 have pityH2347, norH3808 have mercyH7355.
And unto this peopleH5971 thou shalt sayH559, ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068: BeholdH2005, I setH5414 beforeH6440 youH5414 the wayH1870 of lifeH2416 and the wayH1870 of deathH4194.
He that abideth in this cityH5892 shall dieH4191 by the swordH2719, and by the famineH7458, and by the pestilenceH1698: but he that goeth outH3318, and falleth awayH5307 to the ChaldeansH3778 that besiege youH5921, he shall liveH3427, and his lifeH5315 shall be unto him for a prey.
For I have setH7760 my faceH6440 uponH784 this cityH5892 for evilH7451, and notH3808 for goodH2896, saith the LORDH3068: it shall be givenH5414 intoH3027 the handH3027 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894, and he shall burnH8313 it with fireH784.
