Revised Version 1895
Isaiah 52:1-6
1AwakeH5782, awakeH5782, putH3847 on thy strengthH5797, O ZionH6726; putH3847 on thy beautifulH8597 garmentsH899, O JerusalemH3389, the holyH6944 cityH5892: for henceforth there shall noH3808 moreH5750 comeH935 intoH935 thee the uncircumcisedH6189 and the uncleanH2931.
2ShakeH5287 thyself from the dustH6083; ariseH6965, sitH3427 thee downH3427, O JerusalemH3389: looseH6083 thyself from the bandsH4147 of thy neckH6677, O captive daughterH1323 of ZionH6726,
3For thusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, Ye were soldH4376 for nought; and ye shall be redeemedH1350 withoutH3808 moneyH3701.
4For thusH3541 saith the LordH136 GODH136, My peopleH5971 wentH3381 downH3381 at the firstH7223 intoH4714 EgyptH4714 to sojourn there: and the Assyrian oppressedH6231 them withoutH657 causeH657.
5NowH6258 therefore, whatH4100 doH4100 I hereH6311, saith the LORDH3068, seeingH3588 that my peopleH5971 is takenH3947 awayH3947 for nought? they that ruleH4910 over them doH4100 howlH3213, saith the LORDH3068, and my nameH8034 continuallyH8548 allH3605 the dayH3117 is blasphemedH5006.
6Therefore my peopleH5971 shall knowH3045 my nameH8034: therefore they shall knowH3045 in that dayH3117 that I am he that doth speakH1696; beholdH2005, it is I.
