20And JudahH3063 sentH7971 the kid of the goatsH5795 by the handH3027 of his friendH7453 the AdullamiteH5726, to receiveH3947 the pledgeH6162 from the woman’sH802 handH3027: but he foundH4672 herH7971 notH3808.

21Then he askedH7592 the menH376 of herH5921 placeH4725, sayingH559, WhereH346 is the harlot, that was at Enaim by the wayH1870 sideH2088? And they saidH559, There hath been noH3808 harlot hereH2088.

23And JudahH3063 saidH559, LetH7971 herH7971 takeH3947 it to herH7971, lestH6435 weH6435 be putH7971 to shame: beholdH2009, I sentH7971 this kid, and thou hast notH3808 foundH4672 herH7971.

24And it cameH1961 to passH1961 aboutH1961 threeH7969 monthsH2320 afterH1961, that it was toldH5046 JudahH3063, sayingH559, TamarH8559 thy daughter in law hath playedH2181 the harlotH2181; and moreoverH1571, beholdH2009, sheH2320 is with childH2030 by whoredom. And JudahH3063 saidH559, BringH3318 herH5046 forthH3318, and letH1961 herH5046 be burntH8313.

25When sheH1931 was broughtH3318 forthH3318, sheH1931 sentH7971 to herH413 father in law, sayingH559, By the manH376, whoseH834 theseH428 are, am I with childH2030: and sheH1931 saidH559, DiscernH5234, I prayH4994 thee, whoseH834 are theseH428, the signet, and the cordsH6616, and the staffH4294.

26And JudahH3063 acknowledgedH3045 them, and saidH559, SheH3588 is moreH4480 righteousH6663 thanH4480 I; forasmuch as I gaveH5414 herH5921 notH3808 to ShelahH7956 my sonH1121. And he knewH3045 herH5921 againH5750 noH3808 moreH4480.
