Genesis 26:1-16

And there was a famineH7458 in the landH776, besideH413 the firstH7223 famineH7458 that was in the daysH3117 of AbrahamH85. And IsaacH3327 wentH413 unto AbimelechH40 kingH4428 of the PhilistinesH6430 unto GerarH1642.

And the LORDH3068 appearedH7200 unto him, and saidH559, GoH3381 notH408 downH3381 intoH413 EgyptH4714; dwellH7931 in the landH776 whichH834 I shall tellH559 thee of:

sojourn in this landH776, and I will be with thee, and will blessH1288 thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seedH2233, I will giveH5414 allH3605 theseH411 landsH776, and I will establishH6965 the oathH7621 whichH834 I sware unto AbrahamH85 thy fatherH1;

and I will multiplyH7235 thy seedH2233 as the starsH3556 of heavenH8064, and will giveH5414 unto thy seedH2233 allH3605 theseH411 landsH776; and in thy seedH2233 shall allH3605 the nationsH1471 of the earthH776 be blessedH1288;

becauseH834 that AbrahamH85 obeyedH8085 my voiceH6963, and keptH8104 my chargeH4931, my commandmentsH4687, my statutesH2708, and my lawsH8451.

And IsaacH3327 dweltH3427 in GerarH1642:

and the menH376 of the placeH4725 askedH7592 him of his wifeH802; and he saidH559, SheH1931 is my sisterH269: for he fearedH3372 to sayH559, My wifeH802; lestH6435, saidH559 he, the menH376 of the placeH4725 should killH2026 meH5921 for RebekahH7259: becauseH3588 sheH1931 was fair to look uponH5921.

And it cameH1961 to passH1961, when he had been there a longH3117 time, that AbimelechH40 kingH4428 of the PhilistinesH6430 lookedH7200 outH8259 at a windowH2474, and sawH7200, and, beholdH2009, IsaacH3327 was sporting with RebekahH7259 his wifeH802.

And AbimelechH40 calledH7121 IsaacH3327, and saidH559, BeholdH2009, of a surety sheH1931 is thy wifeH802: and howH349 saidst thou, SheH1931 is my sisterH269? And IsaacH3327 saidH559 unto him, BecauseH3588 I saidH559, LestH6435 I dieH4191 for herH413.

And AbimelechH40 saidH559, WhatH4100 is this thou hast doneH6213 unto usH5921? one of the peopleH5971 might lightly have lainH7901 with thy wifeH802, and thou shouldest have broughtH935 guiltiness uponH5921 usH5921.

And AbimelechH40 chargedH6680 allH3605 the peopleH5971, sayingH559, He that toucheth this manH376 or his wifeH802 shall surelyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191.

And IsaacH3327 sowedH2232 in that landH776, and foundH4672 in the sameH1931 yearH8141 an hundredfold: and the LORDH3068 blessedH1288 him.

And the manH376 waxed greatH1431, and grewH1431 moreH3966 and moreH3966 untilH5704 he becameH1431 veryH3966 greatH1431:

and he had possessionsH4735 of flocksH6629, and possessionsH4735 of herdsH1241, and a greatH7227 householdH5657: and the PhilistinesH6430 enviedH7065 him.

NowH3117 allH3605 the wellsH875 whichH834 his father’sH1 servantsH5650 had digged in the daysH3117 of AbrahamH85 his fatherH1, the PhilistinesH6430 had stoppedH5640 them, and filledH4390 them with earthH6083.

And AbimelechH40 saidH559 unto IsaacH3327, Go from usH413; for thou art muchH3966 mightier thanH4480 weH3588.
