Revised Version 1895
Genesis 20:8-13
8And AbimelechH40 roseH7925 earlyH7925 in the morningH1242, and calledH7121 allH3605 his servantsH5650, and toldH1696 allH3605 theseH428 things in their earsH241: and the menH376 were sore afraidH3372.
9Then AbimelechH40 calledH7121 AbrahamH85, and saidH559 unto him, WhatH4100 hast thou doneH6213 unto usH5921? and whereinH834 have I sinnedH2398 againstH5921 thee, that thou hast broughtH935 on meH5921 and on my kingdomH4467 a greatH1419 sinH2398? thou hast doneH6213 deedsH4639 unto meH5921 that ought notH3808 to be doneH6213.
10And AbimelechH40 saidH559 unto AbrahamH85, WhatH4100 sawest thou, that thou hast doneH6213 this thingH1697?
11And AbrahamH85 saidH559, BecauseH3588 I thoughtH559, SurelyH3588 the fearH3374 of GodH430 is notH369 in this placeH4725; and they will slayH2026 meH5921 for my wife’sH802 sakeH5921.
12And moreoverH1571 sheH1931 is indeedH1571 my sisterH269, the daughterH1323 of my fatherH1, but notH3808 the daughterH1323 of my motherH517; and sheH1931 becameH1961 my wifeH802:
13and it cameH935 to passH935, when GodH430 causedH1961 meH413 to wanderH8582 from my father’sH1 houseH1004, that I saidH559 unto herH3605, This is thy kindnessH2617 whichH834 thou shalt shew unto meH413; at everyH3605 placeH4725 whither weH834 shall comeH935, sayH559 of meH413, He is my brotherH251.
