Revised Version 1895
Genesis 18:16-22
16And the menH376 roseH6965 upH6965 from thence, and lookedH8259 towardH5921 SodomH5467: and AbrahamH85 wentH1980 with them to bringH1980 them on the wayH1980.
17And the LORDH3068 saidH559, Shall I hideH3680 from AbrahamH85 that whichH834 I doH6213;
18seeing that AbrahamH85 shall surelyH1961 becomeH1961 a greatH1419 and mightyH6099 nationH1471, and allH3605 the nationsH1471 of the earthH776 shall be blessedH1288 in him?
19For I have knownH3045 him, to the endH310 that he may commandH6680 his childrenH1121 and his householdH1004 afterH310 him, that they may keepH8104 the wayH1870 of the LORDH3068, to doH6213 justiceH4941 and judgmentH4941; to the endH310 that the LORDH3068 may bringH935 uponH5921 AbrahamH85 that whichH834 he hath spokenH1696 of him.
20And the LORDH3068 saidH559, BecauseH3588 the cryH2201 of SodomH5467 and GomorrahH6017 is greatH3966, and becauseH3588 their sinH2403 is veryH3966 grievous;
21I will goH935 downH3381 nowH4994, and seeH7200 whetherH518 they have doneH6213 altogether accordingH413 to the cryH6818 of it, which is comeH935 unto meH413; and ifH518 notH3808, I will knowH3045.
22And the menH376 turnedH6437 from thence, and wentH376 towardH6440 SodomH5467: but AbrahamH85 stoodH5975 yet beforeH6440 the LORDH3068.
