Revised Version 1895
Deuteronomy 21:15-21
15IfH3588 a manH376 have twoH8147 wivesH802, the one belovedH157, and the otherH259 hatedH8130, and they have borneH3205 him childrenH1121, bothH8147 the belovedH157 and the hatedH8130; and ifH3588 the firstbornH1060 sonH1121 be hers that was hatedH8130;
16then it shall be, in the dayH3117 that he causeth his sonsH1121 to inheritH5157 that whichH834 he hath, that he may notH3808 makeH1069 the sonH1121 of the belovedH157 the firstbornH1060 beforeH6440 the sonH1121 of the hatedH8130, whichH834 is the firstbornH1060:
17but he shall acknowledgeH5234 the firstbornH1060, the sonH1121 of the hatedH8130, by givingH5414 him a doubleH8147 portionH6310 of allH3605 that he hath: for he is the beginningH7225 of his strengthH202; the rightH4941 of the firstbornH1060 is his.
18IfH3588 a manH376 have a stubbornH5637 and rebelliousH4784 sonH1121, which will notH3808 obeyH8085 the voiceH6963 of his fatherH1, or the voiceH6963 of his motherH517, and thoughH3588 they chastenH3256 him, will notH3808 hearken unto them:
19then shall his fatherH1 and his motherH517 layH8610 holdH8610 on him, and bringH3318 him outH3318 unto the eldersH2205 of his cityH5892, and unto the gateH8179 of his placeH4725;
20and they shall sayH559 unto the eldersH2205 of his cityH5892, This our sonH1121 is stubbornH5637 and rebelliousH4784, he will notH369 obeyH8085 our voiceH6963; he is a riotous liver, and a drunkard.
21And allH3605 the menH376 of his cityH5892 shall stoneH68 him with stonesH68, that he dieH4191: soH4191 shalt thou putH4191 awayH3605 the evilH7451 from the midstH7130 of thee; and allH3605 IsraelH3478 shall hearH8085, and fearH3372.
