Revised Version 1895
Chronicles 1:7-12
In that nightH3915 didH4100 GodH430 appearH7200 unto SolomonH8010, and saidH559 unto him, AskH7592 whatH4100 I shall giveH5414 thee.
And SolomonH8010 saidH559 unto GodH430, Thou hast shewed greatH1419 kindnessH2617 unto DavidH1732 my fatherH1, and hast madeH6213 meH5973 kingH4427 in his steadH8478.
NowH6258, O LORDH3068 GodH430, letH6258 thy promiseH1697 unto DavidH1732 my fatherH1 be establishedH539: for thou hast made meH5921 kingH4427 over a peopleH5971 like the dustH6083 of the earthH776 in multitude.
GiveH5414 meH5414 nowH6258 wisdomH2451 and knowledgeH4093, that I may goH3318 outH3318 and comeH935 in beforeH6440 this peopleH5971: for who canH4310 judgeH8199 this thy peopleH5971, that is soH5414 greatH1419?
And GodH430 saidH559 to SolomonH8010, BecauseH5921 this was in thine heartH3824, and thou hast notH3808 askedH7592 richesH6239, wealthH6239, or honour, norH3808 the lifeH5315 of them that hateH8130 thee; neitherH3808 yet hast askedH7592 longH3117 lifeH5315; but hast askedH7592 wisdomH2451 and knowledgeH4093 for thyself, that thou mayest judgeH8199 my peopleH5971, over whomH834 I have madeH1961 thee kingH4427:
wisdomH2451 and knowledgeH4093 is grantedH5414 unto thee; and I will giveH5414 thee richesH6239 and wealthH6239, and honour, suchH3651 as noneH3808 of the kingsH4428 have had that have been beforeH6440 thee, neitherH3808 shall there anyH1961 afterH310 thee have the like.
