2But I will sendוְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־ve.shi.lach.ti-H7971a fireאֵ֣שׁ'eshH784upon Moabבְּמוֹאָ֔בbe.mo.'AvH4124,and it shall devourוְאָכְלָ֖הve.'a.khe.LahH398the palacesאַרְמְנ֣וֹת'ar.me.NotH759of Keriothהַקְּרִיּ֑וֹתha.ke.ri.YotH7152:and Moabמוֹאָ֔בmo.'AvH4124shall dieוּמֵ֤תu.MetH4191with tumultבְּשָׁאוֹן֙be.sha.'OnH7588,with shoutingבִּתְרוּעָ֖הbit.ru.'AhH8643, andwith the soundבְּק֥וֹלbe.KolH6963of the trumpetשׁוֹפָֽר׃sho.FarH7782:

3And I will cut offוְהִכְרַתִּ֥יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772the judgeשׁוֹפֵ֖טsho.FetH8199from the midstמִקִּרְבָּ֑הּmi.kir.BahH7130thereof, and will slayאֶהֱר֥וֹג'e.he.RogH2026all the princesשָׂרֶ֛יהָsa.Rei.haH8269thereof with him, saithאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.

5But I will sendוְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּיve.shi.Lach.tiH7971a fireאֵ֖שׁ'eshH784upon Judahבִּֽיהוּדָ֑הbi.hu.DahH3063,and it shall devourוְאָכְלָ֖הve.'a.khe.LahH398the palacesאַרְמְנ֥וֹת'ar.me.NotH759of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ פye.ru.sha.LimH3389.

7That pantהַשֹּׁאֲפִ֤יםha.sho.'a.FimH7602after the dustעֲפַר־'a.far-H6083of the earthאֶ֙רֶץ֙'e.retzH776on the headבְּרֹ֣אשׁbe.RoshH7218of the poorדַּלִּ֔יםda.LimH1800,and turn asideיַטּ֑וּya.TuH5186the wayוְדֶ֥רֶךְve.De.rekhH1870of the meekעֲנָוִ֖ים'a.na.VimH6035:and a manוְאִ֣ישׁve.'IshH376and his fatherוְאָבִ֗יוve.'a.VivH1will goH3212in unto the samemaidהַֽנַּעֲרָ֔הha.na.'a.RahH5291,to profaneחַלֵּ֖לcha.LelH2490my holyקָדְשִֽׁי׃kod.shiH6944nameשֵׁ֥םshemH8034:

8And they lay themselvesdownיַטּ֔וּya.TuH5186upon clothesבְּגָדִ֤יםbe.ga.DimH899laid to pledgeחֲבֻלִים֙cha.vu.LimH2254byאֵ֖צֶל'E.tzelH681every altarמִזְבֵּ֑חַmiz.Be.achH4196,and they drinkיִשְׁתּ֔וּyish.TuH8354the wineוְיֵ֤יןve.YeinH3196of the condemnedעֲנוּשִׁים֙'a.nu.ShimH6064inthe houseבֵּ֖יתbeitH1004of their godאֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.HemH430.

9Yet destroyedהִשְׁמַ֤דְתִּיhish.Mad.tiH8045I the Amoriteהָֽאֱמֹרִי֙ha.'e.mo.RiH567beforeמִפְּנֵיהֶ֔םmi.pe.nei.HemH6440them, whose heightכְּגֹ֤בַהּke.GoahH1363waslike the heightגָּבְה֔וֹga.ve.HoH1363of the cedarsאֲרָזִים֙'a.ra.ZimH730, and he wasstrongוְחָסֹ֥ןve.cha.SonH2634as the oaksכָּֽאַלּוֹנִ֑יםka.'a.lo.NimH437;yet I destroyedוָאַשְׁמִ֤ידva.'ash.MidH8045his fruitפִּרְיוֹ֙pir.YoH6529from aboveמִמַּ֔עַלmi.Ma.'alH4605,and his rootsוְשָׁרָשָׁ֖יוve.sha.ra.ShavH8328from beneath.

10Also I brought you upהֶעֱלֵ֥יתִיhe.'e.Lei.tiH5927from the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,and ledH3212you fortyאַרְבָּעִ֣ים'ar.ba.'ImH705yearsשָׁנָ֔הsha.NahH8141through the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּר֙ba.mid.BarH4057,to possessלָרֶ֖שֶׁתla.Re.shetH3423the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of the Amoriteהָאֱמֹרִֽי׃ha.'e.mo.RiH567.

11And I raised upוָאָקִ֤יםva.'a.KimH6965of your sonsמִבְּנֵיכֶם֙mi.be.nei.KhemH1121for prophetsלִנְבִיאִ֔יםlin.vi.'ImH5030,and of your young menוּמִבַּחוּרֵיכֶ֖םu.mi.ba.chu.rei.KhemH970for Nazaritesלִנְזִרִ֑יםlin.zi.RimH5139. Is itnot even thus, O ye childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478?saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

12But ye gave the Nazaritesהַנְּזִרִ֖יםha.ne.zi.RimH5139wineיָ֑יִןYa.yinH3196to drinkוַתַּשְׁק֥וּva.tash.KuH8248;and commandedצִוִּיתֶ֣םtzi.vi.TemH6680the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִים֙ha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,Prophesyתִּנָּבְאֽוּ׃ti.na.ve.'UH5012not.

13Behold, I am pressedמֵעִ֖יקme.'IkH5781under you, as a cartהָעֲגָלָ֔הha.'a.ga.LahH5699is pressedתָּעִיק֙ta.'IkH5781that isfullהַֽמְלֵאָ֥הham.le.'AhH4392of sheavesעָמִֽיר׃'a.MirH5995.

14Therefore the flightמָנוֹס֙ma.nOsH4498shall perishוְאָבַ֤דve.'a.VadH6from the swiftמִקָּ֔לmi.KalH7031,and the strongוְחָזָ֖קve.cha.ZakH2389shall not strengthenיְאַמֵּ֣ץye.'a.MetzH553his forceכֹּח֑וֹko.ChoH3581,neither shall the mightyוְגִבּ֖וֹרve.gi.BorH1368deliverיְמַלֵּ֥טye.ma.LetH4422himselfנַפְשֽׁוֹ׃naf.ShoH5315:

15Neither shall he standיַעֲמֹ֔דya.'a.ModH5975that handlethוְתֹפֵ֤שׂve.to.FesH8610the bowהַקֶּ֙שֶׁת֙ha.Ke.shetH7198; and he that isswiftוְקַ֥לve.KalH7031of footבְּרַגְלָ֖יוbe.rag.LavH7272shall not deliverיְמַלֵּ֑טye.ma.LetH4422himself:neither shall he that ridethוְרֹכֵ֣בve.ro.KhevH7392the horseהַסּ֔וּסha.SusH5483deliverיְמַלֵּ֖טye.ma.LetH4422himselfנַפְשֽׁוֹ׃naf.ShoH5315.

16And he that iscourageousוְאַמִּ֥יץ לִבּ֖וֹve.'a.Mitz li.BoH3820 H533among the mightyבַּגִּבּוֹרִ֑יםba.gi.bo.RimH1368shall flee awayיָנ֥וּסya.NusH5127nakedעָר֛וֹםa.RomH6174in that dayבַּיּוֹם־bai.yom-H3117,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.
