8And Ahazאָחָ֜ז'a.ChazH271tookוַיִּקַּ֨חvai.yi.KachH3947the silverהַכֶּ֣סֶףha.Ke.sefH3701and goldהַזָּהָ֗בha.za.HavH2091that was foundהַנִּמְצָא֙ha.nim.Tza'H4672in the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and in the treasuresוּבְאֹֽצְר֖וֹתu.ve.'o.tze.RotH214of the king’sהַמֶּ֑לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004,and sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֥חvai.yish.LachH7971it fora presentשֹֽׁחַד׃Sho.chadH7810to the kingלְמֶֽלֶךְ־le.Me.lekh-H4428of Assyriaאַשּׁ֖וּר'a.ShurH804.

9And the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Assyriaאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804hearkenedוַיִּשְׁמַ֤עvai.yish.Ma'H8085unto him: for the kingמֶ֨לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Assyriaאַשּׁ֤וּר'a.ShurH804went upוַיַּעַל֩vai.ya.'AlH5927against Damascusדַּמֶּ֙שֶׂק֙da.Me.sekH1834,and tookוַֽיִּתְפְּשֶׂ֔הָvai.yit.pe.Se.haH8610it, and carried the people ofit captiveוַיַּגְלֶ֖הָvai.yag.Le.haH1540to Kirקִ֑ירָהKi.rahH7024,and slewהֵמִֽית׃he.MitH4191Rezinרְצִ֖יןre.TzinH7526.

13And he burntוַיַּקְטֵ֤רvai.yak.TerH6999his burnt offeringעֹֽלָתוֹ֙o.la.ToH5930and his grain offeringמִנְחָת֔וֹmin.cha.ToH4503,and pouredוַיַּסֵּ֖ךְvai.ya.SekhH5258his drink offeringנִסְכּ֑וֹnis.KoH5262,and sprinkledוַיִּזְרֹ֛קvai.yiz.RokH2236the bloodדַּֽם־dam-H1818of his peace offeringsהַשְּׁלָמִ֥יםha.she.la.MimH8002,upon the altarהַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ha.miz.Be.achH4196.

14And he broughtוַיַּקְרֵ֗בvai.yak.RevH7126also the brasenהַנְּחֹשֶׁת֮ha.ne.cho.ShetH5178altarהַמִּזְבַּ֣חha.miz.BachH4196, which wasbeforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440 Yhwhיְהוָה֒Yah.wehH3068,from the forefrontפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440of the houseהַבַּ֔יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,from between the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196and the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Yhwhיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and putוַיִּתֵּ֥ןvai.yi.TenH5414it on the northצָפֽוֹנָה׃tza.Fo.nahH6828sideיֶ֥רֶךְYe.rekhH3409of the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַha.miz.Be.achH4196.

17And kingהַמֶּ֨לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Ahazאָחָ֜ז'a.ChazH271cut offוַיְקַצֵּץ֩vay.ka.TzetzH7112the bordersהַמִּסְגְּר֣וֹתha.mis.ge.RotH4526of the basesהַמְּכֹנ֗וֹתha.me.kho.NotH4350,and removedוַיָּ֤סַרvai.Ya.sarH5493the laverהַכִּיֹּ֔רha.ki.YorH3595from off them; and took downהוֹרִ֔דho.RidH3381the seaהַיָּ֣םhai.YamH3220from off the brasenהַנְּחֹ֖שֶׁתha.ne.Cho.shetH5178oxenהַבָּקָ֥רha.ba.KarH1241that wereunder it, and putוַיִּתֵּ֣ןvai.yi.TenH5414it upon a pavementמַרְצֶ֥פֶתmar.Tze.fetH4837of stonesאֲבָנִֽים׃'a.va.NimH68.
