14For Menahemמְנַחֵ֨םme.na.ChemH4505the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Gadiגָּדִ֜יga.DiH1424went upוַיַּעַל֩vai.ya.'AlH5927from Tirzahמִתִּרְצָ֗הmi.tir.TzahH8656,and cameוַיָּבֹא֙vai.ya.Vo'H935to Samariaשֹׁמְר֔וֹןsho.me.RonH8111,and smoteוַיַּ֛ךְvai.YakhH5221Shallumשַׁלּ֥וּםsha.LumH7967the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Jabeshיָבֵ֖ישׁya.VeishH3003in Samariaבְּשֹׁמְר֑וֹןbe.sho.me.RonH8111,and slewוַיְמִיתֵ֖הוּvay.mi.Te.huH4191him, and reignedוַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְvai.yim.LokhH4427in his stead.

15And the restוְיֶ֙תֶר֙ve.Ye.terH3499of the actsדִּבְרֵ֣יdiv.ReiH1697of Shallumשַׁלּ֔וּםsha.LumH7967,and his conspiracyוְקִשְׁר֖וֹve.kish.RoH7195which he madeקָשָׁ֑רka.SharH7194, behold, they arewrittenכְּתֻבִ֗יםke.tu.VimH3789in the bookסֵ֛פֶרSe.ferH5612of the chroniclesדִּבְרֵ֥י הַיָּמִ֖יםdiv.Rei hai.ya.MimH3117 H1697of the kingsלְמַלְכֵ֥יle.mal.KheiH4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ סYis.ra.'ElH3478.

16Then Menahemמְ֠נַחֵםMe.na.chemH4505smoteיַכֶּֽה־ya.keh-H5221Tiphsahתִּפְסַ֨חtif.SachH8607, and all that weretherein, and the coastsגְּבוּלֶ֙יהָ֙ge.vu.Lei.haH1366thereof from Tirzahמִתִּרְצָ֔הmi.tir.TzahH8656:because they openedפָתַ֖חfa.TachH6605not to him,therefore he smoteוַיַּ֑ךְvai.YakhH5221it; andall the women therein that were with childהֶהָ֥רוֹתֶ֖יהָhe.Ha.ro.Tei.haH2030he ripped upבִּקֵּֽעַ׃ פbi.Ke.a'H1234.
