1And when Athaliahוַֽעֲתַלְיָה֙va.'a.tal.YahH6271the motherאֵ֣ם'emH517of Ahaziahאֲחַזְיָ֔הוּ'a.chaz.Ya.huH274sawרָאֲתָ֖הra.'a.tahH7200that her sonבְּנָ֑הּbe.NahH1121was deadמֵ֣תmetH4191,she aroseוַתָּ֙קָם֙va.Ta.komH6965and destroyedוַתְּאַבֵּ֔דva.te.'a.BedH6all the seedזֶ֥רַעZe.ra'H2233royalהַמַּמְלָכָֽה׃ha.mam.la.KhahH4467.

2But Jehoshebaיְהוֹשֶׁ֣בַעye.ho.She.va'H3089,the daughterבַּת־bat-H1323of kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ־ha.Me.lekh-H4428Joramי֠וֹרָםYo.romH3141,sisterאֲח֨וֹת'a.ChotH269of Ahaziahאֲחַזְיָ֜הוּ'a.chaz.Ya.huH274,tookוַתִּקַּ֣חva.ti.KachH3947Joashיוֹאָ֣שׁyo.'AshH3101the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Ahaziahאֲחַזְיָ֗ה'a.chaz.YahH274,and stoleוַתִּגְנֹ֤בva.tig.NoH1589him from amongמִתּ֤וֹךְmi.TokhH8432the king’sהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121which wereslainהַמּ֣וּמָתִ֔יםha.ma.mo.timH4191;and they hidוַיַּסְתִּ֧רוּvai.yas.Ti.ruH5641him, evenhim and his nurseמֵינִקְתּ֖וֹmei.nik.ToH3243,in the bedchamberבַּחֲדַ֣ר הַמִּטּ֑וֹתba.cha.Dar ha.mi.TotH4296 H2315fromמִפְּנֵ֥יmi.pe.NeiH6440Athaliahעֲתַלְיָ֖הוּ'a.tal.Ya.huH6271,so that he was not slainהוּמָֽת׃hu.MatH4191.

3And he was with her hidמִתְחַבֵּ֖אmit.cha.Be'H2244in the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068sixשֵׁ֣שׁsheshH8337yearsשָׁנִ֑יםsha.NimH8141.And Athaliahוַעֲתַלְיָ֖הva.'a.tal.YahH6271did reignמֹלֶ֥כֶתmo.Le.khetH4427over the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ פha.'A.retzH776.

4And the seventhהַ֠שְּׁבִיעִיתHa.she.vi.'itH7637yearוּבַשָּׁנָ֣הu.va.sha.NahH8141Jehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֜עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077sentשָׁלַ֨חsha.LachH7971and fetchedוַיִּקַּ֣ח׀vai.yi.KachH3947the rulersשָׂרֵ֣יsa.ReiH8269over hundredsהַמֵּא֗וֹתha.me.yotH3967,with the captainsלַכָּרִי֙la.ka.RiH3746and the guardוְלָ֣רָצִ֔יםve.La.ra.TzimH7323,and broughtוַיָּבֵ֥אvai.ya.Ve'H935them to him into the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Yhwhיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and madeוַיִּכְרֹת֩vai.yikh.RotH3772a covenantבְּרִ֜יתbe.RitH1285with them, and took an oathוַיַּשְׁבַּ֤עvai.yash.Ba'H7650of them in the houseבְּבֵ֣יתbe.VeitH1004of Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and shewedוַיַּ֥רְאvai.Yar'H7200them the king’sהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428sonבֶּן־ben-H1121.

5And he commandedוַיְצַוֵּ֣םvay.tza.VemH6680them, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, This isthe thingהַדָּבָ֖רha.da.VarH1697that ye shall doתַּעֲשׂ֑וּןta.'a.SunH6213;A third partהַשְּׁלִשִׁ֤יתha.she.li.ShitH7992of you that enter inבָּאֵ֣יba.'EiH935on the sabbathהַשַּׁבָּ֔תha.sha.BatH7676shall even be keepersוְשֹׁ֣מְרֵ֔יve.Sho.me.ReiH8104of the watchמִשְׁמֶ֖רֶתmish.Me.retH4931of the king’sהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004;

6And a third partוְהַשְּׁלִשִׁית֙ve.ha.she.li.ShitH7992shall beat the gateבְּשַׁ֣עַרbe.Sha.'arH8179of Surס֔וּרSurH5495;and a third partוְהַשְּׁלִשִׁ֥יתve.ha.she.li.ShitH7992at the gateבַּשַּׁ֖עַרba.Sha.'arH8179behindאַחַ֣ר'a.CharH310the guardהָרָצִ֑יםha.ra.TzimH7323:so shall ye keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֛םu.she.mar.TemH8104the watchמִשְׁמֶ֥רֶתmish.Me.retH4931of the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,that it be not broken downמַסָּֽח׃ma.SachH4535.

7And twoוּשְׁתֵּ֤יu.she.TeiH8147partsהַיָּדוֹת֙hai.ya.dOtH3027of all you that go forthיֹצְאֵ֣יyo.tze.'EiH3318on the sabbathהַשַּׁבָּ֑תha.sha.BatH7676,even they shall keepוְשָֽׁמְר֛וּve.sha.me.RuH8104the watchמִשְׁמֶ֥רֶתmish.Me.retH4931of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068aboutאֶל־'el-H413the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.
