41And it was toldוַיֻּגַּ֖דvai.yu.GadH5046Solomonלִשְׁלֹמֹ֑הlish.lo.MohH8010that Shimeiשִׁמְעִ֧יshim.'IH8096had goneהָלַ֨ךְha.LakhH1980from Jerusalemמִירוּשָׁלִַ֛םmi.ru.sha.LimH3389to Gathגַּ֖תgatH1661,and was come againוַיָּשֹֽׁב׃vai.ya.ShoH7725.

42And the kingהַמֶּ֜לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֨חvai.yish.LachH7971and calledוַיִּקְרָ֣אvai.yik.Ra'H7121for Shimeiלְשִׁמְעִ֗יle.shim.'IH8096,and saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Did I not make thee to swearהִשְׁבַּעְתִּ֣יךָhish.ba'.Ti.khaH7650by Yhwhבַֽיהוָ֗הba.Yah.wehH3068,and protestedוָאָעִ֤דva.'a.'IdH5749unto thee, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,Knowיָדֹ֥עַya.Do.a'H3045for a certainתֵּדַ֖עte.Da'H3045,on the dayבְּי֣וֹםbe.YomH3117thou goest outצֵאתְךָ֗tze.te.KhaH3318,and walkestוְהָֽלַכְתָּ֙ve.ha.lakh.TaH1980abroad any whitherH575,that thou shalt surelyמ֣וֹתMotH4191dieתָּמ֑וּתta.MutH4191?and thou saidstוַתֹּ֧אמֶרva.To.merH559unto me, The wordהַדָּבָ֖רha.da.VarH1697thatI have heardשָׁמָֽעְתִּי׃sha.Ma.'e.tiH8085isgoodט֥וֹבTovH2896.

43Why then hast thou not keptשָׁמַ֔רְתָּsha.Mar.taH8104the oathשְׁבֻעַ֣תshe.vu.'AtH7621of Yhwhיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and the commandmentהַמִּצְוָ֖הha.mitz.VahH4687that I have chargedצִוִּ֥יתִיtzi.Vi.tiH6680thee with?

44The kingהַמֶּ֜לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559moreover to Shimeiשִׁמְעִ֗יshim.'IH8096,Thou knowestיָדַ֙עְתָּ֙ya.Da'.taH3045all the wickednessהָרָעָ֗הha.ra.'AhH7451which thine heartלְבָ֣בְךָ֔le.Va.ve.khaH3824is privy toיָדַע֙ya.Da'H3045,that thou didstעָשִׂ֖יתָ'a.Si.taH6213to Davidלְדָוִ֣דle.da.VidH1732my fatherאָבִ֑י'a.ViH1:Therefore Yhwhיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068shall returnוְהֵשִׁ֧יבve.he.ShivH7725thy wickednessרָעָתְךָ֖ra.'a.te.KhaH7451upon thine own headבְּרֹאשֶֽׁךָ׃be.ro.She.khaH7218;

45And kingוְהַמֶּ֥לֶךְve.ha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֖הshe.lo.MohH8010shall beblessedבָּר֑וּךְba.RukhH1288,and the throneוְכִסֵּ֣אve.khi.Se'H3678of Davidדָוִ֗דda.VidH1732shall be establishedנָכ֛וֹןna.KhonH3559beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068forעַד־'ad-H5704everעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769.

46So the kingהַמֶּ֗לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428commandedוַיְצַ֣וvay.TzavH6680Benaiahבְּנָיָ֙הוּ֙be.na.Ya.huH1141the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Jehoiadaיְה֣וֹיָדָ֔עye.Ho.ya.Da'H3077;which went outוַיֵּצֵ֕אvai.ye.Tze'H3318,and fellוַיִּפְגַּע־vai.yif.ga'-H6293upon him, that he diedוַיָּמֹ֑תvai.ya.MotH4191.And the kingdomוְהַמַּמְלָכָ֥הve.ha.mam.la.KhahH4467was establishedנָכ֖וֹנָהna.Kho.nahH3559in the handבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027of Solomonשְׁלֹמֹֽה׃she.lo.MohH8010.
