Zechariah 7:11-14

But they 1refused to pay attention, and 23turned a stubborn shoulder and 45plugged their ears from hearing.

They also made their 6hearts as hard as 7a diamond 8so that they could not hear the Law and the 9words which the Lord of armies had sent by His Spirit through the 10former prophets; therefore great 11wrath came from the Lord of armies.

And just as 12He called and they would not listen, so 13they called and I would not listen,” says the Lord of armies;

“but I 1415scattered them with a 16storm wind among all the nations whom they did not know. So the land was 17desolated behind them 18so that 19no one went back and forth, since they 20made the pleasant land desolate.”
