12And CalebH3612 saidH559, “WhoeverH834 attacksH5221 Kiriath-sepherH7158 and capturesH3920 it, I will giveH5414 him my daughterH1323 AchsahH5915 as a wifeH802.” 13Now 1OthnielH6274 the sonH1121 of KenazH7073, Caleb’sH3612 youngerH6996H4480 brotherH251, capturedH3920 it; so he gaveH5414 him his daughterH1323 AchsahH5915 as a wifeH802. 14Then 2it happenedH1961 that when she cameH935 to him, she incitedH5496 him to askH7592 her fatherH1 for a fieldH7704. Then later, she dismountedH6795 from 3her donkeyH2543, and CalebH3612 saidH559 to her, “WhatH4100 4do you want?” 15She saidH559 to him, “GiveH3051 me a blessingH1293: sinceH3588 you have givenH5414 me the landH776 of the 5NegevH5045, giveH5414 me springsH1543 of waterH4325 also.” So CalebH3612 gaveH5414 her the upperH5942 springsH1543 and the lowerH8482 springsH1543.
16Now the 6descendantsH1121 of 7the KeniteH7017, Moses’H4872 father-in-lawH2860, wentH5927 upH5927 from the 8cityH5892 of palmsH8558 with the sonsH1121 of JudahH3063, to the wildernessH4057 of JudahH3063 whichH834 is in the southH5045 of 9AradH6166; and they wentH1980 and livedH3427 with the peopleH5971.
