Romans 9:1-5

1 1I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying; my conscience testifies with me in the Holy Spirit, 2that I have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart. 3For 2I could 3wish that I myself were 4accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of my countrymen, my kinsmen 5according to the flesh, 4who are 6Israelites, to whom belongs 7the adoption as sons and daughters, 8the glory, 9the covenants, 10the giving of the Law, 11the temple service, and 12the promises; 5whose are 13the fathers, and 14from whom is the 15Christ according to the flesh, 16who is over all, 17God 18blessed 19forever. Amen.
