9So he saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Whoמִי־mi-H4310are you?” And she answeredוַתֹּ֗אמֶרva.To.merH559, “I am Ruthר֣וּתrutH7327your slaveאֲמָתֶ֔ךָ'a.ma.Te.khaH519.Now spreadוּפָרַשְׂתָּ֤u.fa.ras.TaH6566your garmentכְנָפֶ֙ךָ֙khe.na.Fe.khaH3671overעַל־'al-H5921your slaveאֲמָ֣תְךָ֔'a.Ma.te.khaH519,for you are a redeemerגֹאֵ֖לgo.'ElH1350.”

10Then he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “May you be blessedבְּרוּכָ֨הbe.ru.KhahH1288of the Lordלַֽיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068,my daughterבִּתִּ֔יbi.TiH1323.You have shownH3190your lastהָאַחֲר֖וֹןha.'a.cha.RonH314kindnessחַסְדֵּ֥ךְchas.DekhH2617to be betterH3190thanמִן־min-H4480the firstהָרִאשׁ֑וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223,by not goingלֶ֗כֶתLe.khetH1980afterאַחֲרֵי֙'a.cha.ReiH310youngהַבַּ֣חוּרִ֔יםha.Ba.chu.RimH970menH970,whetherאִם־'im-H518poorדַּ֖לdalH1800orוְאִם־ve.'im-H518richעָשִֽׁיר׃'a.ShirH6223.

11So nowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258,my daughterבִּתִּי֙bi.TiH1323,do not fearתִּ֣ירְאִ֔יtir.'IH3372.I will doאֶֽעֱשֶׂה־'e.'e.seh-H6213for you whateverכֹּ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־kol 'a.Sher-H3605 H834you sayתֹּאמְרִ֖יtom.RiH559,for allכָּל־kol-H3605my peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971in the cityשַׁ֣עַרSha.'arH8179knowיוֹדֵ֙עַ֙yo.De.a'H3045that you area womanאֵ֥שֶׁת'E.shetH802of excellenceחַ֖יִלCha.yilH2428.

12But nowוְעַתָּה֙ve.'a.TahH6258,althoughH3588it is trueאָמְנָ֔ם'a.me.NamH551that I am a redeemerגֹאֵ֖לgo.'ElH1350,yet thereH3426isH3426alsoוְגַ֛םve.GamH1571a redeemerגֹּאֵ֖לgo.'ElH1350moreמִמֶּֽנִּי׃mi.Me.niH4480closelyH7138relatedH7138thanH4480I.

13Remainלִ֣ינִי׀Li.niH3885this nightהַלַּ֗יְלָהha.Lay.lahH3915,and when morningבַבֹּ֙קֶר֙va.Bo.kerH1242comesוְהָיָ֤הve.ha.YahH1961,ifאִם־'im-H518he willredeemיִגְאָלֵ֥ךְyig.'a.LekhH1350you, goodטוֹב֙tOvH2896;let him redeemיִגְאָ֔לyig.'AlH1350you. But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518he does not wishיַחְפֹּ֧ץyach.PotzH2654toredeemלְגָֽאֳלֵ֛ךְle.go.'o.LekhH1350you, then I will redeemוּגְאַלְתִּ֥יךְu.ge.'al.TikhH1350you,as the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068livesחַי־chai-H2416.Lieשִׁכְבִ֖יshikh.ViH7901downH7901untilעַד־'ad-H5704morningהַבֹּֽקֶר׃ha.Bo.kerH1242.”

14So she layוַתִּשְׁכַּ֤בva.tish.KavH7901at his feetמַרְגְּלוֹתָיו֙mar.ge.la.tavH4772untilעַד־'ad-H5704morningהַבֹּ֔קֶרha.Bo.kerH1242,and gotH6965upH6965beforeבְּטֶ֛רֶםbit.romH2962oneH376personH376could recognizeיַכִּ֥ירya.KirH5234anotherרֵעֵ֑הוּre.'E.huH7453;and he saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, “Do not let it be knownיִוָּדַ֔עyi.va.Da'H3045that the womanהָאִשָּׁ֖הha.'i.ShahH802cameבָ֥אָהVa.'ahH935to the threshingהַגֹּֽרֶן׃ha.Go.renH1637floorH1637.”
