27Therefore Youhandedבְּיַ֣דbe.YadH5414 H3027them overH5414to their enemiesצָֽרֵיהֶ֔םtza.rei.HemH6862who oppressedH6887them,But when they criedH6817outH6817to Youin the timeוּבְעֵ֤תu.ve.'EtH6256of their distressצָֽרָתָם֙tza.ra.TamH6869,You heardתִּשְׁמָ֔עtish.Ma'H8085from heavenמִשָּׁמַ֣יִםmi.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and according to Your greatהָֽרַבִּ֗יםha.ra.BimH7227compassionוּֽכְרַחֲמֶ֣יךָu.khe.ra.cha.Mei.khaH7356YougaveH5414thempeopleמֽוֹשִׁיעִ֔יםmo.shi.'ImH3467who savedוְיוֹשִׁיע֖וּםve.yo.shi.'UmH3467them from the handמִיַּ֥דmi.YadH3027of their enemiesצָרֵיהֶֽם׃tza.rei.HemH6862.

28Butas soon as they hadH5117restוּכְנ֣וֹחַu.khe.No.achH5117,they didלַעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213evilרַ֖עra'H7451againיָשׁ֕וּבוּya.Shu.vuH7725beforeלְפָנֶ֑יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440You;Therefore You abandonedוַתַּֽעַזְבֵ֞םva.ta.'az.VemH5800them to the handבְּיַ֤דbe.YadH3027of their enemiesH340,so that they ruledוַיִּרְדּ֣וּvai.yir.DuH7287over them.When they criedH2199outH2199againוַיָּשׁ֙וּבוּ֙vai.ya.Shu.vuH7725to You, You heardתִּשְׁמַ֛עtish.Ma'H8085from heavenמִשָּׁמַ֧יִםmi.sha.Ma.yimH8064, Andmanyרַבּ֥וֹתra.BotH7227timesעִתִּֽים׃'i.TimH6256You rescuedוְתַצִּילֵ֥םve.ta.tzi.LemH5337them according to Your compassionכְּֽרַחֲמֶ֖יךָke.ra.cha.Mei.khaH7356,

29Andadmonishedוַתָּ֨עַדva.Ta.'adH5749them in order to turnH7725them backלַהֲשִׁיבָ֣םla.ha.shi.VamH7725to Your Lawתּוֹרָתֶ֗ךָto.ra.Te.khaH8451. Yetthey actedהֵזִ֜ידוּhe.Zi.duH2102arrogantlyH2102and did not listenשָׁמְע֤וּsha.me.'UH8085to Your commandmentsלְמִצְוֹתֶ֙יךָ֙le.mitz.vo.Tei.khaH4687but sinnedחָֽטְאוּ־cha.te.'u-H2398against Your ordinancesוּבְמִשְׁפָּטֶ֣יךָu.ve.mish.pa.Tei.khaH4941,Whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834, ifa personאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120followsיַעֲשֶׂ֥הya.'a.SehH6213them, then he will liveוְחָיָ֣הve.cha.YahH2421by them. And theyturnedוַיִּתְּנ֤וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414a stubbornסוֹרֶ֔רֶתso.Re.retH5637shoulderכָתֵף֙kha.TefH3802and stiffenedהִקְשׁ֖וּhik.ShuH7185their neckוְעָרְפָּ֥םve.'a.re.PamH6203,and would not listenשָׁמֵֽעוּ׃sha.Me.'uH8085.

30However, You remainedH4900patientH4900with them for manyרַבּ֔וֹתra.BotH7227yearsשָׁנִ֣יםsha.NimH8141, Andadmonishedוַתָּ֨עַדva.Ta.'adH5749them byYour Spiritבְּרוּחֲךָ֛be.ru.cha.KhaH7307throughבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027Your prophetsנְבִיאֶ֖יךָne.vi.'Ei.khaH5030,Yet they would not listenהֶאֱזִ֑ינוּhe.'e.Zi.nuH238.Therefore You handedבְּיַ֖דbe.YadH5414 H3027them overH5414to the peoplesעַמֵּ֥י'a.MeiH5971of the landsהָאֲרָצֹֽת׃ha.'a.ra.TzotH776.

31Nevertheless, in Your greatהָרַבִּ֛יםha.ra.BimH7227compassionוּֽבְרַחֲמֶ֧יךָu.ve.ra.cha.Mei.khaH7356Youdid not makeעֲשִׂיתָ֥ם'a.si.TamH6213an endכָּלָ֖הka.LahH3617of them or abandonעֲזַבְתָּ֑ם'a.zav.TamH5800them, For You area graciousחַנּ֥וּןcha.NunH2587and compassionateוְרַח֖וּםve.ra.ChumH7349Godאֵֽל־'el-H410.

32“Nowוְעַתָּ֣הve.'a.TahH6258then, our Godאֱ֠לֹהֵינוּ'E.lo.hei.nuH430,the greatהַגָּד֜וֹלha.ga.DolH1419,the mightyהַגִּבּ֣וֹרha.gi.BorH1368,and the awesomeוְהַנּוֹרָא֮ve.ha.no.Ra'H3372Godהָאֵ֨לha.'ElH410,who keepsשׁוֹמֵ֣רsho.MerH8104Hiscovenantהַבְּרִ֣יתha.be.RitH1285and faithfulnessוְהַחֶסֶד֒ve.ha.che.SedH2617,Do not let allכָּל־kol-H3605the hardshipהַתְּלָאָ֣הha.te.la.'AhH8513seemH4591insignificantH4591beforeלְפָנֶ֡יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440You,Whichאֲֽשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834has happenedH4672toH4672us, our kingsלִמְלָכֵ֨ינוּlim.la.Khei.nuH4428,our leadersלְשָׂרֵ֧ינוּle.sa.Rei.nuH8269,our priestsוּלְכֹהֲנֵ֛ינוּu.le.kho.ha.Nei.nuH3548,our prophetsוְלִנְבִיאֵ֥נוּve.lin.vi.'E.nuH5030,our fathersוְלַאֲבֹתֵ֖ינוּve.la.'a.vo.Tei.nuH1,and to allוּלְכָל־u.le.khol-H3605Your peopleעַמֶּ֑ךָ'a.Me.khaH5971,From the daysמִימֵי֙mi.MeiH3117of the kingsמַלְכֵ֣יmal.KheiH4428of Assyriaאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804to thisהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.

33However,You are righteousצַדִּ֔יקtza.DikH6662in everythingכָּל־kol-H3605that has happenedהַבָּ֣אha.Ba'H935to us;For You have dealtעָשִׂ֖יתָ'a.Si.taH6213faithfullyאֱמֶ֥ת'e.MetH571,but we have actedH7561wickedlyהִרְשָֽׁעְנוּ׃hir.Sha.'e.nuH7561.

34For our kingsמְלָכֵ֤ינוּme.la.Khei.nuH4428,our leadersשָׂרֵ֙ינוּ֙sa.Rei.nuH8269,our priestsכֹּהֲנֵ֣ינוּko.ha.Nei.nuH3548,and our fathersוַאֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּva.'a.vo.Tei.nuH1have not keptעָשׂ֖וּ'a.SuH6213Your Lawתּוֹרָתֶ֑ךָto.ra.Te.khaH8451Or paidH7181attentionהִקְשִׁ֙יבוּ֙hik.Shi.vuH7181to Your commandmentsמִצְוֹתֶ֔יךָmitz.vo.Tei.khaH4687and Youradmonitionsוּלְעֵ֣דְוֹתֶ֔יךָu.le.'E.de.vo.Tei.khaH5715with whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834You haveadmonishedהַעִידֹ֖תָha.'i.Do.taH5749them.

35Butthey, in their own kingdomבְּמַלְכוּתָם֩be.mal.khu.TamH4438,With Your greatהָרָ֜בha.RavH7227goodnessוּבְטוּבְךָ֨u.ve.tu.ve.KhaH2898whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834You gaveנָתַ֣תָּna.Ta.taH5414them,With the broadהָרְחָבָ֧הha.re.cha.VahH7342and richוְהַשְּׁמֵנָ֛הve.ha.she.me.NahH8082landוּבְאֶ֨רֶץu.ve.'E.retzH776whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834You placedנָתַ֥תָּna.Ta.taH5414beforeלִפְנֵיהֶ֖םlif.nei.HemH6440them,Did not serveעֲבָד֑וּךָ'a.va.Du.khaH5647You or turnשָׁ֔בוּSha.vuH7725from their evilהָרָעִֽים׃ha.ra.'ImH7451deedsמִמַּֽעַלְלֵיהֶ֖םmi.ma.'a.lei.HemH4611.

36Beholdהִנֵּ֛הhi.NehH2009,we are slavesעֲבָדִ֑ים'a.va.DimH5650todayהַיּ֖וֹםhai.YomH3117,And as for the landוְהָאָ֜רֶץve.ha.'A.retzH776whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834You gaveנָתַ֣תָּהna.Ta.tahH5414to our fathersלַאֲבֹתֵ֗ינוּla.'a.vo.Tei.nuH1to eatלֶאֱכֹ֤לle.'e.KholH398its fruitפִּרְיָהּ֙pir.YahH6529and its bountyטוּבָ֔הּtu.VahH2898,Beholdהִנֵּ֛הhi.NehH2009,we are slavesעֲבָדִ֖ים'a.va.DimH5650on it.

37Andits abundantמַרְבָּ֗הmar.BahH7235produceוּתְבוּאָתָ֣הּu.te.vu.'a.TahH8393is for the kingsלַמְּלָכִ֛יםla.me.la.KhimH4428Whomאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834You have setנָתַ֥תָּהna.Ta.tahH5414overעָלֵ֖ינוּ'a.Lei.nuH5921us because of our sinsבְּחַטֹּאותֵ֑ינוּbe.cha.to.Tei.nuH2403;They also ruleמֹשְׁלִ֤יםmo.she.LimH4910overוְעַ֣לve.'AlH5921our bodiesגְּ֠וִיֹּתֵינוּGe.vi.yo.tei.nuH1472And over our cattleוּבִבְהֶמְתֵּ֙נוּ֙u.viv.hem.Te.nuH929as they pleaseכִּרְצוֹנָ֔םkir.tzo.NamH7522,So we are in greatגְדוֹלָ֖הge.do.LahH1419distressוּבְצָרָ֥הu.ve.tza.RahH6869.
