16So the peopleהָעָם֮ha.'AmH5971wentH3318outH3318and broughtוַיָּבִיאוּ֒vai.ya.vi.'UH935themand madeוַיַּעֲשׂוּ֩vai.ya.'a.SuH6213boothsסֻכּ֜וֹתsu.KotH5521for themselves, eachאִ֤ישׁ'ishH376on his roofגַּגּוֹ֙ga.GoH1406,and in their courtyardsוּבְחַצְרֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔םu.ve.chatz.Ro.tei.HemH2691and in the courtyardsוּבְחַצְר֖וֹתu.ve.chatz.RotH2691of the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,and in the publicH7339squareH7339atthe Waterהַמַּ֔יִםha.Ma.yimH4325Gateשַׁ֣עַרSha.'arH8179,and in the squareH7339atthe Gateשַׁ֥עַרSha.'arH8179of Ephraimאֶפְרָֽיִם׃'ef.Ra.yimH669.

17The entireכָֽל־khol-H3605assemblyהַ֠קָּהָלHa.ka.holH6951of those who had returnedהַשָּׁבִ֨יםha.sha.VimH7725from the captivityהַשְּׁבִ֥י׀ha.she.ViH7628madeוַיַּֽעֲשׂ֣וּvai.ya.'a.SuH6213boothsסֻכּוֹת֮su.kOtH5521and livedוַיֵּשְׁב֣וּvai.ye.she.VuH3427in the boothsבַסֻּכּוֹת֒va.su.kOtH5521.Indeedכִּ֣יkiH3588,the sonsבִּן־bin-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478had not doneעָשׂ֡וּ'a.SuH6213soכֵּן֙kenH3651sinceמִן־min-H4480the daysמִימֵי֩mi.MeiH3117of JoshuaH3091the sonבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Nunנ֥וּןnunH5126to that dayהַיּ֣וֹםhai.YomH3117.
