Revelation 2:3-13
3and you have 1perseverance and have endured 2on account of My name, and have not become weary. 4But I have this against you, that you have 3left your first love. 5Therefore, remember from where you have fallen, and 4repent, and 5do the 6deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and I will remove your 7lampstand from its place--unless you repent. 6But you have this, that you hate the deeds of the 8Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 79The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. 10To the one who overcomes, I will grant to eat from 11the tree of life, which is in the 12Paradise of God.’
8“And to the angel of the church in 13Smyrna write:
14The first and the last, who 1516was dead, and has come to life, says this:
9‘I know your 17tribulation and your 18poverty (but you are 19rich), and the 20slander by those who 21say they are Jews, and are not, but are a synagogue of 22Satan. 10Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, so that you will be 23tested, and you will have tribulation 24for ten days. 25Be 26faithful until death, and I will give you 27the crown of life. 1128The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. 29The one who overcomes will not be hurt by the 30second death.’
12“And to the angel of the church in 31Pergamum write:
The One who has 32the sharp two-edged sword says this:
13‘I know where you dwell, where 33Satan’s throne is; and you hold firmly to My name, and did not deny 34My faith even in the days of Antipas, My 35witness, My 36faithful one, who was killed among you, 37where Satan dwells.
