Revelation 13:4-10
4they worshiped the 1dragon because he 2gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “3Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” 5A mouth was given to him 4speaking 5arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for 6forty-two months was given to him. 6And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, 7those who dwell in heaven.
7It was also given to him to 8make war with the 9saints and to overcome them, and authority was given to him over 10every tribe, people, language, and nation. 8All who 11live on the earth will worship him, everyone 12whose name has not been 13written 14since the foundation of the world in the 15book of life of 16the Lamb who has been slaughtered. 917If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 1018If anyone 19is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; 20if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is 21the 22perseverance and the faith of the 23saints.
