Mark 1:40-45

401And a man with 2leprosy came to 3Jesus, imploring Him and 4kneeling down, and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”

41Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out with His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”

42And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.

43And He sternly warned him and immediately sent him away,

44and He said to him, “5See that you say nothing to anyone; but 6go, show yourself to the priest and 7offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

45But he went out and began to 8proclaim it 9freely and to 10spread the news around, to such an extent that 11Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but 12stayed out in unpopulated areas; and 13they were coming to Him from everywhere.
