John 19:32-36

So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first man, and of the other who was 1crucified with Him;

but after they came to Jesus, when they saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.

Yet one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately 2blood and water came out.

And he who has seen has 3testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you also may believe.

For these things took place 4so that the Scripture would be fulfilled: “5Not a bone of Him shall be 6broken.”
