John 12:43-50

431for they loved the 2approval of people rather than the 3approval of God.

44Now Jesus cried out and said, “4The one who believes in Me, does not believe only in Me, but also in Him who sent Me. 45And 5the one who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 466I have come as Light into the world, so that no one who believes in Me will remain in darkness. 47If anyone hears My 7teachings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for 8I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. 489The one who rejects Me and does not 10accept My 11teachings has one who judges him: 12the word which I spoke. That will judge him on 13the last day. 4914For I did not speak 15on My own, but the Father Himself who sent Me 16has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. 50And I know that 17His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak 18just as the Father has told Me.”
