Jeremiah 33:24-26
24“Have you not observed what these people have asserted, saying, ‘The 1two families which the Lord chose, He has 2rejected them’? So they 3despise My people as no longer being a nation 4in their sight.
25This is what the Lord says: ‘If My 5covenant for day and night does not continue, and I have 6not established the 7fixed patterns of heaven and earth,
26then I would 8reject the 9descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so as not to take from his 10descendants 11rulers over the 12descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But I will 13restore their fortunes and have 14mercy on them.’”
