Jeremiah 33:24-26
24“Have you not observed what this people have spoken, saying, ‘The 1two families which the Lord chose, He has 2rejected them’? Thus they 3despise My people, no longer are they as a nation 4in their sight.
25Thus says the Lord, ‘If My 5covenant for day and night stand not, and the 6fixed patterns of heaven and earth I have 7not established,
26then I would 8reject the 9descendants of Jacob and David My servant, 10not taking from his 11descendants 12rulers over the 13descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But I will 14restore their 15fortunes and will have 16mercy on them.’”
