Jeremiah 18:21-23
21Therefore, 1give their children over to famine And turn them over to the 2power of the sword; And let their wives become 3childless and 4widowed. Let their men also be slaughtered to death, Their 5young men struck and killed by the sword in battle.22May a 6cry be heard from their houses When You suddenly bring raiders upon them; 7For they have dug a pit to capture me And 8hidden snares for my feet.23But You, Lord, know All their 9deadly schemes against me; 10Do not 11forgive their wrongdoing Or wipe out their sin from Your sight. But may they be 1213overthrown before You; Deal with them in the 14time of Your anger!
