Jeremiah 18:15-17
15For 1My people have forgotten Me, 2They burn incense 3to worthless gods. And they 4have stumbled in their ways, In the 5ancient roads, To walk on paths, Not on a 6highway,16To make their land a 7desolation, An object of perpetual 8hissing; Everyone who passes by it will be astonished And 9shake his head.17Like an 10east wind I will 11scatter them Before the enemy; I will 12show them 13My back and not My face 14In the day of their disaster.’”
