James 5:16-20

16Therefore, 1confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be 2healed. 3A 4prayer of a righteous person, when it is 5brought about, can accomplish much. 17Elijah was 6a man with a nature like ours, and 7he prayed 8earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for 9three years and six months. 18Then he 10prayed again, and 11the sky 12poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.

19My brothers and sisters, 13if anyone among you strays from 14the truth and someone turns him back, 20let him know that the one who has turned a sinner from the error of his way will 15save his soul from death and 16cover a multitude of sins.
