James 5:16-20

16Therefore, 1confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be 2healed. 3The effective 4prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. 17Elijah was 5a man with a nature like ours, and 6he prayed 7earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for 8three years and six months. 18Then he 9prayed again, and 10the 11sky 12poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.

19My brethren, 13if any among you strays from 14the truth and one turns him back, 20let him know that 15he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will 16save his soul from death and will 17cover a multitude of sins.
