James 5:14-20

14Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for 1the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, 2 3anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; 15and the 4prayer of faith will 5 6restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will 7raise him up, and if he has committed sins, 8they will be forgiven him. 16Therefore, 9confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be 10healed. 11A 12prayer of a righteous person, when it is 13brought about, can accomplish much. 17Elijah was 14a man with a nature like ours, and 15he prayed 16earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for 17three years and six months. 18Then he 18prayed again, and 19the sky 20poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.

19My brothers and sisters, 21if anyone among you strays from 22the truth and someone turns him back, 20let him know that the one who has turned a sinner from the error of his way will 23save his soul from death and 24cover a multitude of sins.
